Is it just me or is PSO just plain BORING by now.
I mean by PSO World standards I'm only a Level 67 and I have about 130 hours on my character and I just cant get myself to enjoy the game anymore. I dont even have the drive to reach the coveted level 100. i've played hrough the same boring mindless levels millions of times (were rather exciting beore) and I've beat the game several times.
Is it just me or does anyone else feel that they've already used everything that PSO (ver1 at least) has to offer.
BTW I never see any of my old frends online..guess they got bored quicker than i did even though one was lvl100...

I am no where NEAR being bored with this game. I have a level 100 HUmar, and another 3 chars around level 6 - 17 (let my level 83 FOnewm rest in piece). I find this game still not boring considering I'm still graving those items that I have yet to find (I play pretty legit). Just today I was playing Caves with Spike (level 100 HUmar) and we found Custom Barrier V.00 and D-parts in the same room (grr, he killed the monsters, he gets the items). This is what I'm happy about, people that don't stick to the game (no offense) are now leaving, along with the cheaters, dupers, and hackers. They all got everything, no need to play anymore. Only the legits are left (err, except for those damned PKers)! buahahahahahhaha!

Well I think it depends on how much you like dungeon hacker-type games and what you consider to be rewards. I think the people that play simply to constantly better their characters through experience or items get bored fairly quickly because there's only so many items to find and what not.
But many people, such as myself and the people I always play with on Puck 9, play for the cooperation and teamwork. You never really get tired of beating an incredibly difficult boss with a group of friends through teamwork, or making a new friend or two through trading or cooping.
Something else to consider is making another character. I always have to take a break from a character when I get to level 55 or so, and go and start playing a new character or one that I haven't played in awhile. And like Fargo said, play a Force! They're SOO much fun once you've had some experience with the other two classes. Playing a Force can be so much different from the other classes because of their weak nature. Certainly rewarding though.

Much like a pub or a club, many of us just hop on-line for good company. A game is ten times more fun if all players talk to each other throughout the game, on the city/lobby especially.
I play PSO for good friends and good company. Often we chat just as much as we play. When we play we don't need to plan on how we need to watch each other's backs, we just do. When you get to enjoy games like that you'll want to play more.

I agree with lanzer it is ten times more fun with Humor and all sorts of other conversations that come up.

OtakuDC...hmm...if I am not mistaken, you have a character named Achtung and we had a little conversation about you making a new character (Blitkrieg maybe?). Well... DO IT! I'll be making a new character soon, so I'll be more than happy to join you on your journey to level 40. Anyhow, I do understand your comments. Despite all the cheats/hacks/pks that lurk out there, it is the fraternity of PSO that draws me in. I have met many peeps along the way and haved enjoyed playing with many of them (read the Cool People of PSO thread). Then again, I am a sucker for cooperative online games.

hahah i got bored of the game to.. them i started fist fighting dark falz with my old lvl 30 force that was nuts!! hahah there's always fun stuff todo in pso.... like make a new char and at lvl one group with some dudes and take on the boss suecied errr suicied....? what ever DEATH is the only answer to your problems!
I don't think that i will ever get bored of pso just because of the interaction between the people. Look at Lmnopia, you think that it would be a boring game if you were grouped with her. No, you would be laughing your ass off her pathetic atempts to kill dark falz solo with her bare hands. Or some other unmetionable thing i have witnesses being grouped with her.
All of the above is only vaild only if you have a sense of humar, .......ok sorry bad punhttp://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_wink.gif
