New harmless arrow cheat.

There is a new cheat floating around to give yourself a soccer arrow in lobbies 11-13. Me and clara have had this cheat for a long time, but it was done through packet editing. But now, there is a simple way to do it with nothing special.

The reason it works on lobbies 11-13 is that Sonic Team forgot to update the servers in one particular area when they made GC PSO. The server is programmed to block arrows in non-soccer lobbies, as it should. However, when they made version 3 (GC PSO), they forgot to update the server's security to make 11-13 into regular lobbies again - the old setting of 11-15 from version 2 is used.

The cheat is, of course, completely harmless and cute ^_^ I would post it but it does use methods that the PSO World management doesn't like. It's also a little too similar to a harmful cheat.

LOL. I used to do packet editting with D2 and even made a few modules for the D2 Hackit program (along with some killer game Mods), but I never really explored the possibilities of it on GC. Everyone did packet editing in D2. Even I did, and I am to hacking what Donnie Osmond is to Accordeon Death Metal (now there's a prospect for'y!). The only way to have made Diablo 2 easier to abuse was if they made it open source... Plus, anything people did with that game was probably already done by st33v, Kuntar, or That Russian Hacker Guy. So bleh!

I agree, D2 was easy to hack. I never said it wasn't. I simply mentioned that I had done some with that game and that I thought it was interesting what Bary has done with it in PSO.
