1 - Extremist Clause
The hero is either unusually powerful, or unusually insignificant.
2 - Heritage Clause
The hero is born with a special ability unique to him, which has been passed down his family from generation to generation.
3 - Grudge Match Clause
The hero always finds a way to combine "final showdown" with "settling the score". Seems revenge is one helluva motivator!
4 - Galactic Empire Clause
The adventure will be mainly set in a tyrannical country, or a paradise on earth but with unbelievable amounts of corruption.
5 - Hulk Clause
If a character develops a mutation during the story, it's always for the worse.
6 - Sailor Moon Clause
If a character develops a mutation before the story, it's always for the better.
7 - Potty Mouth Clause
The characters either swear way too much, or not at all.
8 - Dr. Strangelove Clause
Unless the hero saves the day, the whole darn planet is doomed to be blown up to smithereens.
9 - Shakespeare Clause
Evil guys tend to speak in a very eloquent, but very uninspired style.
10 - Dungeons & Dragons Clause
Medieval adventures mean the characters will use the word "shall" more than anything else.
11 - Erotic Fantasy Clause
Women-oriented combat clothes are extra-skimpy, but no one seems to mind.
12 - Invincible Girl Clause
The woman in the skimpy suit will last longer in battle than the tough soldier in full armor.
13 - Oh My Goddess Clause
The hero's girlfriend somehow happens to be an ultra-powerful queen, politician, sorceress, or whatever else that can basically kill the bad guy just by touching it. But we all learn about it at the last minute.
14 - Tragic Moment Clause
The girlfriend mentioned above will die.
15 - Divorce Court Clause
If the hero is a heroine, she will either have no boyfriend, will have broken up with her boyfriend, will have divorced from her boyfriend, or will have a dead boyfriend.
16 - Bait Clause
Some important good guy will always fall for the evil corruption and turn against the hero.
17 - Mystic Voyage Clause
The hero will spend a brief time in some ultra-perfected place where everyone is happy and everything works the way it should.
18 - Dr. Evil Clause
The bad guy often has no motive other than destroy just to destroy.
19 - Mad Scientist Clause
If there is a lab accident, it's always because of some wacky personnel member who went nuts or stupid all of a sudden.
20 - Leet Haxor Clause
Attempts to break into a computer security system always succeed, no matter how tough the security is.
21 - Darth Vader Clause
The evil guy has an unbelievably bad character and has a tendency to kill his own allies.
22 - Dark Backstory Clause
The hero has a weird or unusual background.
23 - Zulu Clause
The good guys always have sucky weapons compared to the bad guys.
24 - Signature Color Clause
The bad guys use red stuff; red lasers, red badges, red logos, red dragons, anything that can be painted red will be painted red.
25 - Angelic Savior Clause
When all seems lost, one character will suddenly do something no one has ever seen before and save the whole team.
26 - Like Father Like Son Clause
If the evil guy gets killed, someone is just waiting to take over the power and start wreaking havoc too.
