This Anti-War protester was abused and arrested by the cops, all because of a green light crossing.

Its hard to tell if this is just some random act of police brutality or if there was something else behind the scenes. I'm not saying you're wrong or anything...I just hope you are. Where about did this act take place?

actually, to be fair, most of the the indymedia covered acts were in sf, and yes it did happen in sf both downtown and east bay during the war protests and the cops got into a lot of trouble for it. but in defense for the cops, they were told and made to do it, and a lot refused and just stood there.
and indymedia is also known for being over the top, sometimes exaggerating.

i completely agree. its time that they protest in ways that won't block traffic or put themselves in danger. although i don't know the whole story, i would think that if they weren't beat by the cops, they would have been run over. its a lose/lose situtation for them, because of their stupidity. jaywalkers will get hurt any way you look at it.
