Phantasy Star Online - Ultimate Fan Item

Original piece of PSO artwork by Lee Swain

The image above and below shows an example piece of art for this auction.

A one of a kind unique piece of artwork designed specifically for you! Thats right, your OWN PSO character designed and printed on an incredible quality art tile, and ready to hang.

All work will be signed by artist. The work on display is an example created by the artist himself, showing a design based on his own character.

Created by up and coming English artist Lee Victor Swain, currently working on an Animated TV Show (to be released some time next year?). Gauranteed value increase!p>

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you wish to see a higher quality sample.

The winner of this auction will be asked to send me his Phantasy Star Online character details (explained in detail how to do that). And an original one of a kind piece of artwork will be created for the buyer!

Why don't I have ideas like this?

Seems kinda high priced for the quality of if though. It's not bad, but $40.00 starting and 90+ for buy it now?

It is low quality and high priced, with no garuntee that the anime he/she is working on will make the art skyrocket in the future. Yea, it could happen, but no garuntee. Just a selling point.

But I was more interested in the fact that he/she does commisions to have your character immortalized. It's a grea idea, and if the work was a bit higher quality, it could sell really well.

Imagine your own real life episode 3 PSo card http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Too bad I no longer have a PSO character. ^_^;

I've actually seen these before, by a different artist. It's nothin' new.

Although I find the initiative inventive, I'm sorry to say I can request pics of better quality here for free.

For one, the face sucks. Secondly, there is too much open space.

Yeah really. This guy's stuff is average, but it's nowhere near skilled enough to be charging $50 for a commision. If he's like most artists as well, he probably has a lot of problems drawing the Android types.

But as Batou said in so many words, he's doing these for free! Same with me, it's just I'm horribly slow. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif But damn it's worth it when I get off my lazy butt. Hell, I'm not even doing these for item trades. I'm just doing them because they're good excersizes in drawing action and complicated clothing designs.

Did I hear the R word? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I'm ready to submit my request; but I got no answer from either Batou or Relam when I asked the question a week ago so I didn't know what you two were up to.

No kidding! I've been thinking about taking comissions for free as well, just to give me something to do, but then I get that tug on the shoulder that indicates I dunno what's gonna happen next week that could very easily pull me away for another extended period of time. Yoix. It's amazing that someone is making some cash out there doing Fanart for other folks...Whatever happened to art trades anyway?

Yeesh. X_x; I'm about the last person in the world to pick at proportion and posing, but that's kind of... Off. >_>; Don't like the face either.

At least I can draw my own fanart, even if it sucks and the only thing I do well is colouring. ._.

...Blast it, that reminds me, I need to get to work on drawing the images for that wallpaper I've been meaning to do for my computer... Er, anyone know which face/skin tone the 'evil' Calus uses?

Did you? ^^; I haven't recieved a pm from you.

It's kinda odd, but I don't really take requests asked in the forums too seriously. If you really want me to draw something for you, you should PM me. that way you can give me all the details I need without having to waste people's time reading about it. Also, I'm kinda on and off on these message boards so it's a better bet to pm me to keep in contact with me.

But I have to warn you that I work extremely slow. I'm just now starting to shade Yoda's request and he asked me like two months ago. It's not that it actually takes that long, it's just I have the attention span of a fruit bat ^^; But if you really really want a pic from me, pm me.

Don't we all? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif I mean, I have pics from YEARS ago that I STILL haven't done shading for, and I did something else before that...Sketches are so much easier than coloring...
