on internet connections that we
already pay for in our own way!

All the free MMORPG's are either not
working or look like crap. . . I want
to say that the people who do this, I
think are money grabbing, pocket pinching,
fat greedy tyrants who like to see us squirm
whenever we can't pay our monthly bill . . .
and they think it fun to bann us from the
things we love so much until we pay their fee . .

So swimming in ponds is a sport now? Going out and running is a sport? I would call that exercise, not participating in a sport.

I guess you are also going to say you don't need to buy running shoes? I don't know where you get your advice, but I have never heard anyone say that you don't need running shoes if you are going running. Expect to pay at least $60 for low quality running shoes (about the price of a year of an online game).

I agree. Don't like to pay? Then you've obviously chosen the wrong hobby. Video gaming is a very expensive past-time, and this includes fees for playing games online.

Sega tried the free online gaming route.. it didn't work. The fees for getting online aren't that much.. it breaks down to about 30 cents a day. If you can't scrounge up 30 cents a day, then you have bigger problems on your hands than finding a way to get online with PSO.

Doesnt cost money to play capture the flag with your friends.

School sports are usually either free or like $15. And parants are normaly glad to pay for them.

well said. why can't more people listen to you. i mean, yeah, these companies do make money off of charging the players, but someone else (i don't remember) also posted that it DOES take LOTS of money to keep these games running. the more people that play, the more it costs to maintain. either pay the small fee, or suck it up and play offline.

someone said they pay $50 for a year online. THATS CHEAP. its less than 14cents a day.
