Internet Popups that lie.

I was on Javagameplay.com, and tried to play swarm, when a popup, *ahem* popped up.

It was for Internet security, I decided to humor the net, and I noticed it had the WRONG operating system listed... oh my gosh that was so freakin hilarious. Like I'm gonna buy your 'service' now...

that cracks me up...so...ironic...

and the infamous 'broken' popup...it pops up with 'This page cannot be displayed'...that one's hilarious too...

and made it ONLY affect Windows XP

You can easily disable them with the proper browser, available for any platfrom (http://www.mozilla.org/). And if you have Max OS X you really should try out this one (http://www.apple.com/safari/).

I hate porn popups... Happened to me at school when I was in 6th grade! o.0 All I did was search for Hong Kong stuff (HK project at the time) Lucky I didn't get in trouble

well then, here's the trick: delete all cookies and your history from your computer. if your mom checks more than that, she would have to be really suspicious of you... and, of course, cookies are really a government conspiracy to watch every move you make... and to pollute your computer with such garbage... WHICHEVER GOV'T AGENCY YOU ARE, DON'T THINK I HAVEN'T NOTICED! I'M WATCHING YOU RIGHT BACK!

Um.. deleting your cookies won't clear the history folder. All you have to do is, after one of the offending pop-ups.. um... pop up... just hit the "History" button on the tool bar at the top. Locate the pr0n pop-up url in your history, right click on it, select delete. Ta-dah. To be safe tho.. you could also just go to the Tools menu, select Internet Options, and click on Clear History. That may make your computer a little too squeaky clean though.. and your mom might get suspicious. o_O

Speaking of those kinds of pop-ups.. I hate pop-ups that promise free pr0n - and when you click on them, they take you to another site which promises free pr0n. Click on it's URL and it takes to you to a site, with a redirect, to a Pay site which then barrages you with pop-ups for other pay pr0n sites!!

You may wanna get Ad-Aware to that removes any spyware on your pc that will elimnate many of the pop-ups

You could also get windowwasher that will automaticly del history, cookies and the like if you forget after you visit LMAO

oh and BTW for that Windows XP popup jobbo here how you rid yourself off it

Click start and go to run.

Type in MSCONFIG.

Click the serivces tab

Scroll down untill yousee messenger and uncheck that box
restart and you will never be plagued by that most annoying pop up ever.
