The Search for Meaning
Chapter 1: Enter the Newman
My name is? Names, if you stop to think about them there really isn't a point. I mean some people have the same name as others. Why can't we all have serial numbers, like Androids! Of course, these days they like to give Androids 'regular' names as well, so stupid! It's just making them more like 'us' and less unique.
Anyway, my body is known as Kolga. I've been blessed by the gods with exceptional magic power. People tend to treat me different because of this. I would be scared to, humans are a worthless race. They aren't anything special, they just kind of stand there while Newmans focus on meditating and Androids on repairing their systems. They seem too interested in meseta more than anything. Greedy, self-centered beings they are.
If you haven't already guessed, I'm a Newman. The chosen race if you ask me. Since when have pointy ears not been a sign of intellect and power? I?ve been working on my skills as a 'Force', another useless title. I plan to become a mentor for other Newmans like myself. The people who are looking for something but have no clue what it is their looking for. That's how my whole life has been. Abandoned by my parents the day I was born and adopted by an Android. I guess that's why I favor Androids more so than Humans. Baldr was good to me. A very tall, handsome HUcast, what do you know, another title! He could make me laugh anytime but since his death my life has been even more meaningless.
I've been afraid ever since he left me. I never knew what happened really. One day he left to help someone on Ragol, the next day a strange Human came to my door. He told me how Baldr had tried to help him defeat some 'Paper' I think he called it. But he wasn?t strong enough to make it back. Another Android had attacked with a scythe type weapon. I've kept my eyes open for that Android but haven't seen him yet. Oh how I miss Baldr, if only I had been there with him, maybe I could've protected him but then again maybe not?
Today's the day I enter the Kjtika dojo. It's been a while since I've talked with other people. I've been secluded trying to find myself. I finally did. I was walking in an alley one day; I only went out on the 'rainy' days. (I'm so glad that Principal created the artificial weather system!) I saw my reflection in a puddle but I saw more than just me. I looked deep into my eyes. Most people only do this to others but I could see something in me that was different from before. I had awakened a power that I can't describe. It's not like some invincible power or one that can be noticed by others. It's more of an inner strength. Humanity, or Newmanity as I like to call it, is something I have long looked over. I'm just a person in the universe. I can either make a mark or disappear like so many others do.

I totally disagree with his opinion about humans. Humans have a need to be jealous, or we wouldn't have advanced so far. Jealousy and greed can lead to someone trying to be better, or stronger than someone, making then better, and stronger, and then the rest will follow the strong just because they are blind...
I may continue this on later but I'll cut off for now.
Its good, keep going...

I'll post later tonight but I just hope that you guys realize that this isn't my personal view but Kolga's view. I'm trying to make this interesting! Go with me here!

Just a suggestion that you might want to write
up the fics in notepad or something of the sort.
That way, some of your characters (namely single
and double quotes) won't turn into question marks.

Thats not nessesarily true, that I disagree because I'm human... Thats not my reason at all, If I could find the reason I would totally despise humans in generall. And I halfway do, but there are still those individuals that I respect and can understand that dont think in a way that makes my stomach churn.
In phyisical form I'm a human, in mental, I have no clue...

Chapter 2: The Dojo of Mystery
I came up to the Kjtika dojo, the large doors were made out of a a metal called Tripoli. It gave off a brilliant shine, I had to squint until my eyes adjusted to the brightness.
"We've been expecting you..." A deep voice came from behind the door as it slowly opened when I was about 3 meters from it. How did they know I was there? They must have a video set up around here. I took a quick look for one in the usual spots and then where they might try and hide one. Nothing there, it made me wonder...
"Hello..." I was cut off by the voice again.
"We know why you are here, please have a seat." I came into a black room where a spotlight was shown on a bright silver chair. It matched the door.
"How do..." I was cut off yet again.
"We know almost everything before you do or say it. That's a gift we wish to pass on to you if you can pass our test." There was a great dramatic pause. I guess this was supposed to be time for me to think. "Then you accept?"
"Of course." I waited anxiously for their reply. The darkness around me began to lighten up. I could now see a magnificent hallway. There were plants placed around pillars. Plants, what are
they for? I see no point! They are mostly green, perhaps one of the most disgusting colours besides brown and pink, and they tend to give off a distinct odor.
"If you don't like the plants then don't look at them." I snapped to attention as a saw a group of three Newmans and a Human with two Androids at their flanks.
"I'm sorry..." I began to tremble. I'm sure why but I just felt inferior to them. They had a colossal mind strength. I could feel it surrounding me. It was like a protective aura.
"That's ok, we shall soon teach you how to change things you don't like, only if you pass the test of course." A very short FOnewm walked foward saying this. He had mostly green on, I felt crushed that I might have offened this elder. "Don't worry, I don't really like green either, my wife tends to dress me in the morning." He chuckled and walked with the group down the hall. I followed close behind but far enough away so that I couldn't feel their aura. It just gave me a chill when I felt it. Like a cold shower running all over your body and stimulating your brain.
"You shall stay here tonight and in the morning your test shall begin." They opend the door to my new room and then vanished. I stupidly looked around, I hated acting like a human. I was taken aback by the room. It had a high ceiling and a great view of a courtyard. There was fountain in the middle with a Newman, an Android, and a Human. They were standing with their backs to each other in a circle. Water flowed out of different parts of their weapons. A rod, a rifle, and a double saber. It would do.
"Good afternoon roomy!" I turned to see a flamboant little FOnewm dressed in all pink, I cringed at the site of it. "I hope we can be friends and that you will pass the test! It's rather easy but, oh I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Athena." She stretched out her hand and just stared at it.
"Indeed you are. I'm Kolga, that's what they call me at least." I began to unpack a suitcase that had been supplied by the dojo. They had special clothes for each individual person to compliment their personality. My clothes were a dark, rich purple with hints of black and blue. They were perfect, far better than my original gray, washed out clothes.
"Well here, let me help you!" This Athena girl pointed at the suitcase and the clothes began to put themselves up. "I just learned how to do this last week! I've been here for about three months now." She had finished with the chore and smiled at me. "Well I'll let you get settled in and rest. I'll come get you when it's time to eat!" She walked out with her hair bouncing cheerfully, I started to develop a plan on how to cut her hair in her sleep. However I diverted my attention to resting on the large comfortable bed.
"This will do nicely." I feel into a deep sleep...

Chapter 3: Aren't We There Yet?
"I said I was sorry Kolga!" Athena was screaming into my ear. She had forgotten to come and get me when dinner was ready. I had trained my body to go at least two months without food. I've got great self-decipline. Gloating, an unfortunate habit you recieve when around 'Humans' to long.
"It's ok Athena. Just drop it and show me the way." I stared at her and then motioned towards the doorway.
"Ok, but I really am..." I glared at her and she let out a squeak. I think she finally got the point. As we walked I got to examine her stature more closely. It's an old habit that Baldr taught me. You can tell a lot from the way people stand and walk.
She seemed to skip a step every now and then. I'd never seen that before, it was quite unusual. She also flicked her right arm out to the side, once hitting an unsuspecting FOmar in the groin. It was actually funny, I almost thought of laughing.
We finally came to the main hall. Two large metallic doors just like the lobby doors opened slowly. Several hundred round tables about the size of the warp to Ragol were set up. However they had smooth wavy edges. Ten solid black chairs were placed at each table.
"Here's were you get your food." Athena turned around and looked at me with her bright, twinkling pink eyes. They seemed to stare right through me like they were searching for something. Well she wasn't going to find anything in me, I promised myself not to let my emotions interfere with my learning.
I looked over a large computer that Athena was pointing at. She began to poke some buttons. A tray with, what looked like Rappy slop, appeared in a small area to the right.
"Don't let it's looks decieve you. It's loaded with every vitamin you will ever need or want. Rumor is that they've also put something in it to improve mind capabilities." She was bouncing on the balls of her feet like usual as she picked up her tray. Some of the slop fell onto the floor. It sank immediately into the floor. It was then I saw just how clean this place was. The floors looked as if they were giving off their own light.
"Come on I'll introduce you to some fellow dojoers." She snickered and the creation of her little word. We were weaving in and out of tables making our way to the far corner. "Are you sure you don't want any food?"
"I'll pass. I'm on a new diet." I was obviously lieing.
"Oh I know just how it is. Like just last year I was on a water only diet and oh boy did I just starve. Had to go to the infirmary you know?!"
"Aren't we there yet?" My legs began to weaken when finally we came to a table with eight occupants. All of them FOnewearls like myself. Each a different colour.
"Kolga meet the Goddesses, Goddesses meet Kolga."
It felt like my eyes popped out of my head. They looked identical to Athena with the exception of the colour. Reminded of what they called people back in school, 'cultists'...

What the... Dark Falz cultist or mind readed cultists? Which fanfic am i thinking of when I say DF Cultists?...
I'm not sure where you got the DF cultists. LOL! These are just a harmless group of mindreading, magic slinging FOnewearls that look like Athena and vary in colour....

Chapter 4: Here's Our Card...
Out of sudden impulse I grabbed Athena's fork and pretended to be facinated with it. Don't know why to this day but it was the only thing I could think of to avoid looking at the unsual group.
"Girls, round off!" Athena faced me and each cultist began to stand up one at a time calling out their name as they went.
"Hera" purple "Venus" yellow "Demeter" white "Vesta" brown "Iros" rainbow theme (worst of the bunch if you ask me) "Atropus" black "Lachesis" gray "Clotho" blood red and of course "Athena" pink!
I just stared blankly and then looked back at my fork. "Kolga you aren't being very nice but of course you just might be shy. I know I was shy when I first met the Goddesses. See we're kind of like a soroity but not officially." She cleared her throat and began again. "We try and go into our own studies and further even more than the dojoers can teach us." All of them laughed when she her word again. I simply curled my lip and turned away trying to find a way out of this mess.
"Excuse me but I think I'd like try some of the slop, I mean food now. Just a bit hungry so I'll catch up with you guys later." I turned on my heel but didn't even manage a step when Athena grabbed my arm.
"We'd like to ask you something first." They all nodded in agreement. "Would you like to join our sisterhood?" She was bouncing again. Was gravity not on my side? Could someone teach me how to focus gravity in one spot long enough to turn her into a pancake? Oh well, life doesn't give you everything, sometimes you just have to improvise.
"Oh you know what? I've already been invited into another cul... group! So sorry." I ran away trying not to hear their squeals of rage. I guess they were mad because I didn't say bye but who cares? There's an idea, how about I take some bleach to them all? Then the scissors.
I had made it to the slop dispenser and decided to get some so that it looked like I was telling the truth earlier. It was then that I noticed a small card in my pocket on my sleeve. Athena must have slipped it in when she grabbed me. Here's our card... Athena's voice resounded in my head. I tried not to look over but the courisoity was to great. They were all staring right at me. I picked up my tray and decided to eat in my room.

There's not much here wrong, or in that sense...
Each person has their own style to writing that is unique, and I find interesting to read. But basically it seems to move forward a little bit fast, with lack of details in some areas.
Its good, keep up the progress!! ^_^
PS:Methinks Athena has had a BIT too much sugar, spas...

I like how you post new chapters very rapidly. Your one of the fastest writers i see... Execpt for some notable execption...
I'm taking some time on chapter 5. I knew I needed to work on detail, I usually give to much detail at once so I guess I cut back a little to much! LOL
I'll post probably on Thursday.
