4 trombone gets all the easy parts (not really. about half of our marching show's melody is trumbone)

I'm a bass drummer. The one i get to play this season is freakin huge! By the time we get off the field, my back is killing me. It's just that I'm not used to it.

i play marimba so i dont have to carry the bass like i do when my band plays in parades but its tough i have like 10 solos in our show since it is original music written by our bands arranger he knows that i can play all the crazy shit he writes so he piles it on haha

(i have 2 measures of 32nd note runs at a tempo of 130... its insane)

Holy sh*t! I dont think i could do that. We just have a 28 1/2 measure drum break in the middle of the show.

drum break would constitute only drums playing which would mean no rests

which would mean hes going all out for like half of the song

precutionests percutionests Drum guys, do not be insulted, this was in manditory music class in grade 8.......

All of the retards seemed to be dished back to that big old drum that you smack with a padded drumstick or the bells. They could not master holding down a few keys on a real instrument, so they were demoted to smacking things on nothing higher than 4/4 time... the sad part is that i witnessed a girl fail her triangle and base test.

music teacher- hit it on two and four*
retard- *smack smack smack smack smack smack* (in the space of four seconds)

*in the space of four seconds, hit it on the second and the fourth (me learn good yaaaaaay!!!)

I think I know who the cavaliers are.
The theme of our show is classic rock. We're doing "You Dropped a Bomb on Me," "Vehicle," (+drum break=coolness) and "MacArthur Park"(I didn't know this one the first time I played it)

I dunno about you guys, but bandgeeks are the most messed up kids in our school. Their whole body is covered in a pulsing acne, and are some of the ugliest kids ever. Plus they look retarted in their uniform and argue over who gets to wear the big fluffy hat. Who cares? One girl even left the school because she wasnt drum major. It was messed up. Also, most kids are dungeons and dragons fans sweet. I think Im gonna make a Harry potter dungeons and dragons. Thatd be so 1337.
