Hello! I'm new to PSO world, and my twin sister Lady Red Comet has decided that I needed to join and post my art. I'd like some feedback (from people who actually know what PSO is...), so comments and critiques are very welcome.

This is my FOnewearl, Demi!

This is my HUcaseal, Enriqueta! I'm currently going over this pic in Illustrator for my Computer Art class at school, so there'll be a color version soon.

There is one question that SOMEONE at SOME POINT is obligated to ask any artist that produces this calibur of art. And that question is... Do you take requests?

Indeed, welcome! Fabulous artwork! My favorite is the FOnewearl at the top. I love how you drew her face and eyes. Facial expressions are something I'm still struggling to improve in my own work.

I can't wait to see the HUcaseal finished. =)

Thanks for sharing!

Aw, thank you all for the warm reception! The answer to the question of PSO requests is yes, I will do them, but please tell me the number of the outfit for your character so I can draw the details in accurately. I love drawing PSO characters (I've done a FOnewearl, HUnewearl, HUcaseal, HUmar, RAmarl, FOmar and FOmarl so far). Also, if you request something, please tell me if you want it CGed or hand coloured (and if you want it hand coloured, whether with markers or coloured pencils, or if you just want it black and white).

And my picture of Riqua should be finished sometime next week (I only need to finish her arms and shield and pick out a background. I always feel bad because it takes so long to finish stuff in Illustrator since I can only use it at school. It's a very good thing my teacher lets me do anything I want to.

that was really good artwork. i agree with the others that the hucaseal would look awesome coloured in. i like the inclusion of the berydsh and i love you for the rati. its such a great mag. i think Ian-KunX would like to see this. my personal fave colour rati is yellow, looks sooo cool.
anyway, keep up this stuff, lots of pictures mean lots of stuff to look at, in awe.

How long does it take you to complete a sketch/total, unincluding breaks inbetween/

Um... It really depends on how much I have to do at school... Usually I can do one in a couple of hours (say three or four) if I do it in black and white, but it takes a lot longer when I do them in colour, because I don't carry my colouring tools around with me, and have to wait until I get home. That usually makes the colour ones take anywhere from four to seven or eight hours, if I really like it. If I don't like it (or it's a difficult pose), I won't work on it very much, and it can take as much as two weeks.

The pics I posted in this thread each only took me a couple of hours of solid work, but the HUcaseal one took me two days, counting breaks, because I couldn't decide what MAG to give her.

Hm.... Please don't tell my AP Drawing teacher that I can work that fast. *g* He might make me work more during class.

Dont know your AP drawin teacher so you dont have to worry about that ^_^

Hmm, I thought some of those might take longer. Most of my own drawings take from 1-3 hours. Mainly because I cant really stand to be working on something for that long. Unless I'm making a large drawing, including several people, backrounds. ect...

Pose also plays a major role in time taking, as you have most definatley noticed. Some poses, legs, arms, face, all sometimes take me ten minute to get right by itself.

i like both the pics... i have been drinking a LOT... the first one just needs some perspective adjustment.. no forehead, eyes are eerily big... other than that the colors are great... the second just needs to be inked... i know inking is a b*atch, but i would think it would benefit greatly by inks... colors are always great also, but look better over finely detailed inks.... keep up the good work and keep posting i look forward to more artwork!!! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Heh... Those were before I had any art pens... My mom wouldn't let me have any until I got into AP Drawing and I *had* to have them to take the class. And my style has changed somewhat since I drew these, but I adjusted the FOnewearl look so that it looked better to me. I think it just looks weird in the actual design of the hat thing. That's probably just my personal preference though!

As to perspective problems, that's probably because I don't have any books on perspective and this year is my first year in any drawing class... *blush*

And Batou, I'm honoured you looked at my work! *is very happy* I love your art... My sister has been showing it to me for a long time.
