S Rating = Egg Blaster??

I was wondering. I remember reading a few days ago about if you score an S Rating on the Sonic2 Trail disk, an Egg Blaster will be saved to your PSO Main save. Is any of this true?

I'm really wanting another Egg Blaster after I found out my old was duped and I had to give it up. If you actually found your Egg Blaster, and it wasn't traded, would you be so kind as to tell us all where you found it?

Sega released a statement saying that no outside saves effect the game. Therefore playing Sonic won't do anything.

from what ive' heard the egg blaster was going to be a prize item giveing from sonic team, for some contest they were going to hold, but the item was hacked and they may not do it anymore

But then why are so many people ruiing around with Egg Blasters and not getting the hacked item message? There has to be some way to get it. I'm trying my damndest to get that S. Hell, even if I get nothing for it, I'll at least have...well..nothing. lol

Sega lies and don't you ever forget it. you know on gamefaqs if you look at the codes for this game from like ign it tells you how to dupe items and walk thru doors. give it time i bet it will tell you how to pk resta someone. if you can't get online due to hacked items it tells you how to get around that and use your hacked items online still.
