As Light and Dark: A Conflicted Soul (though not canon any more) comes to a close, I wonder which of the three concept fanfics I have lined up I should do next. Since pleasing the reader is my primary concern, I've decided to leave the decision in the hands of the audience. Here's the rundown:
Seeker - Akin to my previous work, Stabbed in the Back, Seeker is a short story detailing the thought processes of a HUcast who is aware of only one directive in his life: "Find it." He learns a lot about himself and his quest on his journey... you'll just have to find out what it leads to!
The Many Deaths of Mari Mari - In the same continuity as the fanfic I'm finishing now, a FOnewearl has a problem: she can't stop dying. Yes, you heard me right. She can't stop dying. And every time she wakes up in a new version of the world, always hearing the words, "Hey, are you alright," first. There is only one pattern to the seemingly random new worlds: each life brings her closer and closer to the Ruins...
Dark Forces - This one barely takes place in PSO. There's a Pioneer 2, of course, but that's where the similarity ends. Techniques, such as they are, are exclusively commanded by a very, very few Forces... whom who never, ever want to run into. Genetic engineering, double-crosses, and seriously off-continuity plotlines abound in Dark Forces!
Please cast your vote if any of these interest you, and I anxiously await your input!
