XBox: Why are Hucasts so popular?

Why tho?!!!!!!!!! I play as a lv24 HUmar(a n00b I no http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif) and when I go into the lobbies all i c are F*****g HUcasts what is so great about them?

Playing with a FO in team is possible the best class.

Un-harmed by afew annoying attacks, can see traps all the time so no worry about accidently running from something and getting slammed, massive ATP, great DFP, along with being able to release their own traps and with Episode 1&2, regen HP if they just stand still.(Yeah, it's not the quickest by any means, but when you're playing online and start talking to your group, it atleast fills up if you're standing still. Even if most people have learned how to run and type at the same time)

Overall, it's just a good character to be. I've had an HUcast since DC Vers 1, and I've had one on every version since then as my main character.

Actually, at high levels, that HP regen goes really really quick... My buddy's high-level HUcast (He's 140-something, I believe) regenerates to full HP almost as fast as my HUnewearl can Resta him there. Albeit, my Resta only heals around 400 HP, and he's got like... 3000 or something... Probably less than that, but I cannot emphasize enough that he has a LOT of HP.

But yeah... The point still stands... Because the HUcast has no points in Mind whatsoever, all of the other stats get that much more points distributed into them. The result is a technique-less powerhouse that can see and plant traps, and regenerate HP as a realistic means of healing. That's entirely why they're popular. The HUmar is supposed to be the introductory character, but it seems to me that a HUcast is easier to play, by FAR.

yes I have grown partial to the 1600+ BASE atp of the HUcast its great with a slicer XD, or any other weapon for that matter...

Egad... I knew it was high, but I didn't realize it was THAT high... Eesh... Weapon equipped and with Shifta, my level 94 HUnewearl only tops that by 100 or so... That makes me realize that, holy crap, a HUcast can handle Ultimate Forest without too much difficulty (maybe even Caves o_O), WITHOUT a weapon...

I can down anything in Forest or Caves with, on average, half a combo with vulcans. level 171

I loathe HUcasts, I played mine up to 80 then dropped him like 4th period french.

They're shooting up in popularity becuase of the Flight Fan and S-rank Mechs. In my opinion.

I... don't have much of an opinion on HUcasts; just the people who play them like they're gods at the game or something. Those kinds of people can bite me.

Now if you said HUcaseals, I would've been an unhappy person. I like my caseal and her daggers very much.

Actually HUcasts aren't really that popular it's mostly HUmars , I've seen very little HUcasts but I have seen SOO many HUmars I think I'm going to kill them all in Battle-mode (I dislike HUmars very much and I always have)

HUcasts are just a simple class.. No magic.. Just hack and slash then heal.. Nothing else for them really. Don't have to worry about traps either.. Your a walking tank..

My Hucast is level 60 and his atp with weapon is well over 2000 about 2208 i think though he is hacked to death lol but that does not bother me it may you though but i also have a dex mag on him so that he hits very well . My sword is hacked as well TJ - sword with high % couple of al rappys and god funk and he is kicking ass all over ult that special on that sword is awesome but this is all just me and he is my latest character since the xbox release he is my fith character with my highest headed for level 160 lol peace out for now

I always played a hucast on every version of PSO released and have the following to say about my personal experiences with my GC one and why they sooo good.

At lv 140 I have 1404 hp (can take a chao bringer rifle shot and not maxed on hp mats yet) and regene is very fast well over 1 per second here.

My atp is curently 1478 (with mag equiped and a few power mats used but not totally mated out). This gives me over 1500 atp when using a Vulcan and floors everything with less than 2400hp in one combo. If I pull out my chainsawb I can finish off a vulmer in 1 combo (great for offline leveling). With my Mags M&Y combo my atp with vulcans goes to around 2050 (kills a Zele in 1 combo that) and chainsawbs at 2500 (1000 plus dam a hit on ep 1).

Now as for ata mines currently at 187 (4 below max) and when combined with most of my weopons this takes it to around 230+ which can pull off a light hard hard attack pretty well offline. Online however I do have to swop my chainsawb for a Last suvivor 50%hit though.

As for def and evade, I never really cared for them as the more samage a monster does the quicker my PB charges so the quicker I get powered up.

Oh and add to these thinks being immune to Paralysis/Poison, having 20 freeze and 20 confuse traps and thats y they my fav.

2. HUcasts are becoming much more popular then HUmars due to the HUcast's higher ATP. HUmars WERE popular for looking like anime things but now HUcasts, RAmars, and FOnewearls are the twinker's weapon of choice for giving high level items due to the fact that each excels in there feilds.
