PSO ending disappointing?

make no mistakes I LOVE pso; but finished the game online for first time last night (normal level) and all you get is a fancy screen with your teammates saying congratulations! the principal doesn't even notice!
wazzzzaaaaa with that sega?
good job it's a game you can never really finish, i.e. every game's different depending on who you play with, etc, but hey!

Don't you get different endings on the higher difficulty levels? I've finished it on hard on-line, and you get Red Ring Rico bursting out the top of Dark Falz or something...

Granted there's no cut-scene, but the end music if gorgeous (even if you can just listen to it anyway by choosing it in the options section).

Offline ending is slightly different. Instead of the characters taking more or less heroic poses (I think RAcast are pretty ridiculous there :P), you get very (very) long credits (they last as long as the music), with the ring of rico spinning on itself at the right. Near the end, when the music change of style, you are provided with a slideshow showing scenes from the begin of the game to the end, with your character over it taking appropriate poses. Very cool.
