well, this is really my first rant here and it has to do with Final Fantays 10...........Yahoo.
Well, I wsa going through Omega Ruins, catching lots of enemies, Yuna and Auron leveled at least 20 times, and my other characters at least 15 times, had all my Aeons in overdrives, got around 200,000 gil from when I started the ruins, was doing good getting items in the chests. Found some good items, maxed on some enemy captures, and was playing for about 2 hours..........I started to get uncomfortable(sp) so i decided to change the way i was laying so I starte moving .....all of a sudden i saw a black screen and heard the PS2 start up again, looked at my elbow and there it was, right up against the reset button...FUCKKKKKKKKKK *throws controller* well, thats what I call a productive night. I think the reset button sho be a little harder to press.
well now thats thats over with, time to got get a no encounter armor.

So, you sit NEXT to your PS2? I have my gamecube under the TV, so no reset trouble! /_/

In terms of EXP, I suggest you go look up FAQs that modifies your weapons to get back your EXP in 15 minutes.

I had Yunas ultimate weapon unlocked, and Auron had an overdrive-Ap and double AP, everyone else had normal weapons.

This has to be the funniest post I've ever seen... but anyways, that sucks....ALWAYS put your game platform by the tv or under it!!! hehehe... but I don't know your situation, so, eh....

In a strange way, you remind me of one of my friends ...
He would always throw his (Gamecube) controller AT the wall when he lost at something ... But knowing the thingy's connected so tight, it usually doesn't fly and gets held back by the cord. Knowingly, he placed a pillow under where it usually lands to avoid buying new controllers
(it's his habit, and he knows it)
One day I cam over...
... and brought my wavebird

You know that throwing the controller is insanely moronic and immature...it doesn't say much for your friend Firo. That's just my 2 pennies...

well, you know when you wasted 2 hours of your life, and want to vent some anger off real quick...there is a controller in your hands and you dont really think about it, it just happens. And I could bet that you have thrown your controller at least once so....but I could be wrong.

That's not always a good thing either and could be worse. My 28inch TV FELL onto my PS2 and cracked it. RIP.
If you are going to put your console by the TV, Always make sure the TV's Stable and on a flat secure surface. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

People often ask us why there is a 2p coin tacked over the reset button on our GC.
This is because the GC has a small RGB screen, it is played all over the house like a gameboy, with the controller held directly over it. You don't have to wonder what the placement of the handles over the reset can do.
I lost SO many hours on PSO before it finally occurred to me that a 2p coin would sit squarely over the reset.

Why don't you play it in one room like a normal person?

Because we have too many consoles. There are too many things that plug into the TV in our house. It gets ridiculous. As many things as possible have their own screen. The GC one is ideal because it runs off the GC power supply. I can take the console with me, lie in bed and play PSO, or play PSO at friends houses. Yes, the screen is only 4 inches. But it's high definition RGB and looks fantastic, being small it also makes up for the fact that PSO's graphics are dated. There are also 2 GCs in this house, one plugged into the TV, one on this portable screen, and we both go online on PSO at the same time. There has to be one GC on this screen, and because it's small like a handheld it's inevitable the controller is going to end up over the reset at some point.

That happened to me too! I was playing Final Fantasy 10 and I was playing blitzball, I beat the first 10 league games and got the underdog's secret (PM me if you know what it does!) And my PS2 shut off. Now I have to get my team back.
