Close. Futurama. Bender's buddy attempts to rob a bank (the same one three times in a row). Fry delcares Insanity and sent to Robot Mental Institute, and his roommate is a uber-nervous robot car salesman that explodes even if it tries to say a word.

For whatever reason, I could never really get into that show, despite the fact I was practically surrounded by people that loved it.
