It's Commodore 64 u.u;;;

And yes, it's a great gaming machine. During its best years, C64 had the largest game library available.

Oh! The beauty of loading games such as Mission Impossible using that weird cassette player. It was a lot of fun (expecially when, after 30 minutes of loading, the game returned an error, forcing you to reload the whole tape from the start u.u;;;).

C64 was great but I'm more a DC fan. An (kinda) innovative system, powerful, and great game library. I have some nice memories related to my trusty DC.

Yet ANOTHER one of these polls? But I'm not gonna complain as it includes old skool. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I'd have to say either SNES or C64... but wheres the Atari? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Yeah, you are missing the Atari 2600, imo the first home console specifically created for games. C64 was a computer (Duh), so you would also have to include all the computers that are out there right now. But I would have to pick Nintendo and its addicting game of Super Mario Bros (which became a household game), Zelda (one of the first addicting adventure/rpg) and of course Metroid (Multiple endings depending on time and complex layout system).

What do you think I made my first computer out of certainly not an Atari 2600.

The name of the thread was:
Best gaming system?

The question above the poll was:
So what is your favorite?

That is not the same question. The best system is easily the Xbox. My favorite is NES.

Yeah, where is SNES on this poll? ;_;

Best RPGs on it in my opinion, I liked Genesis ones too but SNES had ones I actually beat on it. O_o

This is kinda wierd for me
best games (for me) = PS2
fav games = gamecube
best graphics = X-box (marginally)
best background = Cube
Worst games (for me) = box
Best controllers = PS2 and Gamecube
Console i bought = GC
Console i love = GC

it all comes down to game choice, style, taste, and availibility, so there is no best system.

I second Bradicus all the way.. System can be all around the best but if you don't like its games, controllers, ect.. It won't matter in the end.

I love the conveiance of Gameboy SP,I can play all my favorite SNES games,or 32bit GBA games. The backlight and recharagble battery make it playable anywhere.

I'm going to have to say DC. I never had a lot of games for it, but I spent so much time on it. Nostalgia.

I should probably pull it out and bring it back to life.
