Obviously Zero and not just because Protoman didnt't show up..lol. Protoman has been around much longer.. But After only a few games Zero has taken over Megamans spotlight.. Ever since X3 he has been the man.. Protoman on the other hand only made appearances from what I know of.. While Zero is a playable character and has his own gb advance series.. Protoman can't compete with him, even in skill Zero would rip him apart..((Could be considered a capcom fanboy, I bite though so don't call me that))

^ thats true but Zero's skill is why he Wasn't around much in the X series, what with self destructing near the end of X1 and all.

He saved X's life.. He has always been a big part of that series and he was around most of the games.. Whether alive and kicken or in a body bag..
