...why in the hell do we have pubic hair? Or even bodily hair for that reason? It's only good for, what, our eyebrows and the top of our noggin...

yeah, hair does suck, but try having thick leg hair. i never go outside with shorts on cause of it.

I have a lot of it for a 17-year old, but that's something I don't mind. However...for it to protect us from cold? That's a damn lie and you know it.

And I distinctly know that sweat comes out of the pores, but, uh, you don't see it on our legs do you?

Hmmm...

Perhaps because evoulution made us that way.(Yes Im an atheist).

My guess is it showed a mate that a person was ready to mate with. It showed that they had begun puberty and were ready to reproduce. Therefore the ones that had pubic hair, were the ones that had the most offspring.

May sound silly but "cavemen" also found sweat attractive.

This sounds like the type of thing that I would rant about, I am suprised that I have yet to actually bring up the subjest of my body/pubic hair on this webiste since I have done soo pretty much everywhere else on the net.

I swear to God everytime I catch a glimpse of any hair on my Body I begin to feel like Big Foot or a Yeti.

to reduce friction. that's why it's under your arms as well. those are secondary sexual characteristic hairs. they only grow during puberty to reduce friction for your new sexual life filled with sweaty glands and frictious sex.

Frank Zappa shaved his eyebrows off at a concert, then screamed the whole time because the sweat was getting in his eyes. So I always thought eyebrows were to protect the eyes from sweat, light, etc.

Well all head hair is okay, but backhair? WTF is that 4? Pubic hair is like a cushion for males

Pubic hairs purpose is to prevent infections since in olden times people didn't keep clean. I read it in some magazine...

I've read that pubic hairs are meant to keep certain ejaculatory fluids from touching their skin, since they're acidic or something.

Not necessarily temperature regulation...a women's vaginal area is 4 degrees warmer than the rest of her body I think

You would get it, if you were a hobbit...

Hair served a purpose during the caveman days and before that. But, with the invention of clothing and heaters they are preety much useless (other than cosmetic purposes that is, u know: colored hair, hair designs, lovely triangles...errr..etc.

Body builders and swimmers (and other athletes) wax off their body hair. They claim it gives them an edge...whatever.

But I find it hilarious how sad a person becomes when they face the prospect of been bald. Yet most of their life they spend it trying to get rid of excess hair, and at the end they want hair back. Go figure.

Myself, I believe hair makes us disticnt, imagine everyone completely hairless, no eyebrows, mustaches, eyelashes, nothing. We would look like newborn pinky looking yucky baby rats.
