Ok.

I was using my RAcast and playing with my friends HUmar. He is full on monofluids, so I pick all the come by.

After we defeated Vol Opt, we go back to Pioneer 2 and I look at my items.

Oddly enough, my monofluid part says:

MONOFLUID x21

What happened?

I've never been online, and I've never duped an item, i've never experienced FSOD, nothing.

So what happened?

Maybe you should consider glasses. If not it is probably just a glitch...

The only way that could happen logically is if there were some event that modified or "skipped" the limit cap put on the items. If you were somehow able to make the game forget or skip the cap however, it generally stacks from 0 again in a new memory slot (so you would see monomate x10 with another monomate x1). therefore if it were to be x21 the only possibility unless I am missing something is perhaps if you had maxed out your held item storage number (30) and had the 10 monomates in the last slot so that when you add another monomate or more to the item list it would jump to the last data slot available (being the 10 monomates) and hence make it up to 20. It is possible for that but as for having 21, I am uncertain unless there were some sort of loop that was pulled into the mix causing it to happen again by completely blocking the cap.

THE ANSWER

1) Either this is a variation of the shop/bank dupe
2) This is not true
3) I think too much

uhm, it was either an accidental dupe trick,

or just your everyday random-assed glitch

but either way, thats funny cuz i did that a while back on accident before my friend told me how to back up my items.

Otherwise known as duping.

But that's a different thread entirely!
