The Japanese aren't the only culture that enjoys Cosplay at conventions, y'know. My brother-in-laws got some nice pictures of women Cosplaying characters from DOA Beach Volleyball at the Anime Expo in LA last year. Woo... Among characters from other series... A lot from Naruto... A few Final Fantasy and Cowboy Bebop characters... One sick guy dressed as Faye Valentine o_O;

And I dont think it's hilarious because they're making an ass out of themselves. I dont think anyone makes an ass out of him/herself because of cosplaying. Here in Spain, there's a manga expo, in Barcelona, the "Salon Internacional del manga de Barcelona", I think it was called, and there's a lot of people that goes dressed as a character from an anime/manga, and there even is a cosplay competition.

It's jun fun to see how they coplay their PSO charachters, acting like they're fighting and such things. It makes me happy, and like the title says, it makes people smile. At least it has made me smile.

I think its fan-******-tastic that they do things like this in Japan... Where as the majority of people here channel their love of PSO into a constant barage of ST bashing and moaning that they are the best because their lvl 1329843938 mag is so cool [but dont know why they die all the time] in Japan they channel their love of PSO into a far more possitive vibe.
