OK, I was just wondering what the difference is between the japanese version and the english version. Also, does it work on an English Gamecube?

·JP version comes out sooner

·JP version has a cheaper fee. But if you need to play both Episode 1&2 and Episode 3 you need to use same version in order to share the hunter license.

·JP version payment and registration stuff is in japanese so you need a guide.

·JP box and manual are in japanese.

·JP wont work in a NTSC US or PAL Gamecube. Need to mod or use Freeloader/Action Replay

I guess these are the basic facts I can know before the release of the game

MAybe ep 3 dont work with freeloader but sure work with modechip on us gamecube.

EP3 should work with a Freeloader, Freeloader worked as well with EP3 Trial as a side note.

On Play-Asia, it had combo deals with freeloader, so I'm guessing it will work.

F-Zero GX had problems with Freeloader but Action Replay with a code could fix it

It bodes well that the Trial worked with Freeloader.
