PSO Fanfiction board?

Hey everyone, long time no see. The boards seem to be loading pretty fast...

Anyway, since this board has finally gotten into a fanfiction mode, why don't we have a board just for fan fics? I haven't had a chance to read some of the fics yet, but are they all pretty much the same? 4 people going through the game? Getting lost, dying, finding sectrets, ect...? I've been writing mine for awhile (around when the japanese game came out) but I usually don't post them online 'cause of people using it for there own credit... *sigh*

Judging by the amount of fanfics on this board, I'd say a fanfic board wouldn't be a bad idea. Oh, and they're not all the same.....IceBlink's fanfic, to name one, has at least 20 characters in it, and they don't all fall over and find secrets etc......well, I don't, anyway. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_biggrin.gif

Heh, how do I explain my fanfic... I put comedy into it. ^_^

Since essentually, this is known as a self-insert fanfic, it usually means you have to downtone your character, otherwise people may get bored of a super-powerful character. ^_^

Heh... EVERYONE in my fic has flaws in some way or another... ^_^

Heh... I should apologise for carrying on the fanfic thing... but over 2000 views! Man! ^_^

In my time on msg boards I have seen roleplay boards sit and collect dust. The only successful one was an EQ board that I dont even remember http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_wink.gif.

I personally dont think its a good idea but if enough people start writing stories or you spam us enough at pso@tomeeboy.com then it might happen http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_cool.gif.

Same here, of the many message boards that I have gone to in the past, they all have gone pretty much down the dump. Some of the other ones have been great. Its either a huge win or a huge loss...

Put your Fanfic up and copyright it or something. No one will use it for there one credit then.

I think this is a good idea. One giant, i mean huge post of fanfics!

Well, we have the go ahead then, I guess. ^_^ It's up to me and the other authors to keep my thread alive! ^_^ I have a ton of other ideas.. but I'll stick with my own thread for now... heh.

I don't really like fanfices but I got the sudden urge to write one so I did. I didn't post it though because the board suddenly got an influx of them, and its not really a Fanfic board so I didn't want to clutter. I don't know what's involved but if it's not too much trouble, I think a fanfic specific board would be worth a try.

I going through a fanfic which I like to take other char. in it (you know..ppl who don't wanna right one but want a story..) and put them in mines.. I've tone down rage quite a bit (from 99 to 25.. and no sbeats..only dragon slayer..) so I'm trying my best..
