You're right I'm not obligated what-so-ever to this site, but I still run it right? I still code for it and do much work behind the scenes for the site. And so our real damn lives sometimes will overrun whatever time we can devote to the site. But for every period where this happens there will always be a comment from someone like you that feels we have a bad attitude or something. Blah blah blah. I mean really, I'm not trying to be a role model, I'm not trying to inspire anyone. I'm just trying to keep running this site and to keep ignoring ignorant comments from people such as yourselves that no matter what YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUU(I can use caps too) come to terms with will always whine and complain about how WWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEE should be. yes, modding is not some random thing thats amusingly easy. i admin a server for cstrike, and thats not something thats generally seen as "easy" so i respect the admins and mods of this site, especially since their jobs (as admins and mods) are ten times harder than mine, and only half as fun.

I use to run a graphic site, and a gaming site as bout as big as Rpgfan.com, I use to admin 3 boards, with 2000 or more members. I KNOW how people can be ~ I'm NOT trying to be one of those people with this concern. Period. No I don't wont a cookie, dont even try using that comment.

Yes, in the two years this place has gotten much much better than when I first joined. With my own eyes I can say that is true. If the board was not, Erupt, I would NOT be here. Trust my word on that.

I will clap to the admins and moderators of this site. I've been coming here alot for information, even though I havent been active in the forums until Episode III. They've always done a good job in keeping things updated as a whole site, and keeping the item databases and such up to date and truthful. I remember hearing rumors that this site lies and has untruthful information, and the only thing that was untruthful were the rumors that the site sucked.

Not just the guidebook actually, I mean a lot of the EP 3 and EP 3 trial stuff up comes from actually playing, and new quests guides and maps are not from the book. Besides Ep 1 and 2 wise, there just isn't as much to update. But thank you very much Firocket. I just have to say that I do try to put in as much time as I can and I have no intention of leaving the site. I am dedicated on working on content and guides, but when you work, have a grad thesis to work on, have family, bills and you're really sick, sometimes other things have higher priority.

Whooaa! Whats with all the hositility towards the mods? Even though I don't play much anymore I still enjoy the boards. There are some exceptionally cool people here including the mods. Too be honest I'm kinda surprised I haven't been banned yet lol, considering that I haven't always been easy to deal with.

I think some people need to realize that most of the mods probably have played the game since the DC days which was years ago. Despite however much you love the game, at some point, it just becomes old hat. I think the mods have done a fantastic job of keeping things updated and running smooth. The GC version was my first PSO experience, so the game was still new to me when I started playing early this year, but at this point I'm almost completely bored with the game. I still log on once in a while when I'm tired of playing other games but I'll be cancelling my HL after December. My point is this, the mods still continue to put alot of work into a board dedicated to a game that they may be utterly tired of.

Also, as was previously stated, real life has a way of taking precedent over things like this. I personally never took the game that seriously, hence my oft times nonchalant attitude towards it, but many people do take it seriously (too seriously in my opinion) and fail to realize that the mods aren't young kids living at home with mom and dad. They have jobs, families, outside responsibilities that take up alot of time. Life also has a way of throwing curve balls at you once in awhile that also take up alot of time and energy. Be thankful that they still keep things running smoothly. Lord knows if it was up to me, I'd have bailed along time ago after my interest started to wane.

This is not directed at anyone specific, so don't take it as a personal attack. I just think its unfair to complain about the mods when they have been so dedicated in keeping news and info up to date. I have butted heads with a few mods here and not always seen eye to eye with them, but in the end I remember that I agreed to the rules and regulations of these boards and that it is their responsibility to enforce them. Be greatful that PSOW exists and is such a great resource for anything PSO related. If the mods aren't around as much, its because they have other things that they are doing. Other responsibilities, other situations, other interests besides PSO. So cut em some slack if they aren't posting here all the time. In time I'm sure I'll fade from the boards as well. ATM, its a nice place to visit while I work on sites for clients. In fact I usually browse the boards as I'm working at home, but eventually as things wind down and the game gets older many of us will leave and find other sites to frequent and other things to occupy our time. The world is a dynamic place, its always changing so you can either accept that and try to roll with it or get angry about it.

the mods have as much a right to speak their minds as you do, especially when such things are said that comes out as a personal attack. even though you know what you mean, your posts come off a very different way, even as observed by many different members. the mods weren't the only ones that did not agree with what you said.

i have never once said that i wanted to stop what i was doing, all i said was that i am busy, now when someone says "If you want to stop doing what you're doing, then do it" when i have a pile of 5 copies of ep 3 beside me that i personally purchased to give out as prizes, yes that is offensive.

and just because a lot of updates goes on behind the scenes doesn't mean that it doesn't happens. when you posted, erupt was working on the ep 3 db. and now look at the ep3 section. look at all the updates there. and when it comes down to it, hearing that kind of post is disappointing.
