It may be pronounced "CHOW" now, but it was origianaly pronounced "KEI-YO". Since they help protect the CHAOS emeralds (chaos sounding like "KEI-YOS") they were originally pronounced "KAI-YO". I hate when tehy change names around...now they sound like food.
