View Full Version : If the servers hang again like last night...

I was trying to go online with PSO last night and it was hanging just before the ship select, just showing the lobby area. I was on IRC and people were saying how they would reset their DC's and lose stuff and cry and all that.

I didn't reset, and after 10-15 minutes, the game auto-disconnected and auto-saved due to lack of controller input. So if this ever happens again, just be patient and don't touch anything.

That's soft reset, a perfectly safe way of resetting (it saves when you perform a soft reset).

Yup, yup, yup....soft reset has never let me down. The servers have been a big pain in the butt lately. When you get the hang-up don't be afraid to use a soft reset and try again. Its worked for me a bunch of times http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_razz.gif.

The safest method would be to pull the modem cable. Your game would immediately disconnect and let u save.

All soft reset does is take to directly to the save screen. So it's just like disconnecting, but faster.
