BOYCOTT!! ... Wait.. I'm a few days later..

I haven't been to the forum a few days, so I didn't see ADE's post about HL canceling. While away, I decided that I should cancel my HL, though keep in mind I'm not trying to "copy-cat" ADE.

Anyway... I'll probably go online and nab a few presents from saint rappies (hopefully released tomorrow) and then cancel the HL, making sure to write a nasty letter to ST at the same time. I've been playing offline only anyways, so I figure I might as well cut the line.

But it did make me consider the effects of a boycott. I know everyone here is so fuggin apathetic there's no way a boycott would get off the ground... but I still wondered how ST would react. Since people LOVE to fall back onto the "ST won't ban cause they want money" line, it would be entertaining to see the tables turned.

So if you're a player who's sick of PSO's embarrassing state (notice I didn't say legit.. this goes to everyone), then give that HL canceling a thought. Really give it a good thought for me, and see if you could live offline while this experiment proceeds. If you do decide to go through with it... make sure to send a good flame to ST. Lord knows they wont take a hint even when a boycott hits them.

Yeah thats the tricky part about MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER RPGs... other people effect you. How massively multiplayer is a list of 12 guys, and only one of them is on at a time? Please just go away.. you sound like one of those assholes who joins a legit/duper game just to complain. *rubs temples*

Seriously, who cares about what other do? If people cheat, let them; you don't HAVE to play with them. There were cheaters on Xbox PSO, but I was always able to find a group of non-cheaters when I wanted to.

Wow... just wow.

Who knew that having a different opinon of how the game affects you could be considered selfish? First of all, PSO is not a MMO RPG; it is basically an upscale version of Diablo 2, nothing more. I had alot of fun playing PSO offline, both by myself and with friends. Online play is good, but I don't think the game is crap with out it.
