Been on PSO yet today ? You might remember a while back there was a discussion about 'special event' type happenings on PSO that occur in the game on particular dates (e.g. Valentines Day, New Years etc).

I won't spoil the suprise, but you might find a little added extra on the deck of Pioneer when you go online today!

(I'm assuming this works on the US version/US servers as well as the European release of the game).

I didn't see anything on Puck 9, but when I went to a Japanese server, I noticed right away. Seems to be JP only.

The U.S servers have them, i saw them. I went in Europe, and i was like hmm the music is different (thought it was a Europe thing), and two Huge Eggs with fireworks going off. I was like hey we don't have that, but than i went to U.S and they were there.

I discovered this and told everone. Let it be known:
Two eggs by the bank
Fire Works (look around pioneer two)
Eggs by the principal
The eggs (if you angel right) contain star maps.
loads of rare items! Have you ever found a bazooka, duel brand, c sorcerers, durandul, and at least 20 materials and grinders (all in twenty minutes!?!?)

If they have all this crazy easter stuff a week before easter i wonder if there will be ne thing real good on easter? i can't wait to go on christmas^_^ maybe we will have sonic team members lookin like santa claus and all the boxes lookin like presents or big red bags ^_^ lol i can only imagine ^_^

I havn't found any decent rares, but I did find like, 5 power materials in the same room. Also, is it my imagination, or are the monsters doing a tad more damage then normal? Maybe it's my imagination.

I haven't noticed any difference in the amount of rares either. I did Ruins online by myself and got crap. In fact, I got more when I did it offline today (found 4 slot Divinity Armor).

i did ruins after i heard alot of rumors didnt find much out of the normal, except a diska of liberator, not that great but ive never seen one before lol, then i got on with my force, and found a heart of pian that was cool, never seen one of those before either

Durn it, I was hoping the rare thing was real, after reading this on IGN today:

"Beyond the decorative eggs and the new music that plays when you join a game online in PSO, there's been rumors that special hidden items can be found in certain areas... sorta like a twisted Easter Egg hunt of sorts. Additionally, we've heard that there might be a secret enemy to find and hunt."

This sounds awesome to someone who yesterday found their first "cool" thing (s-beat arms) offline yesterday, only to find out that my character can't use it *sob*.

Not a special weapon, but good items none the less. In 300 hours of playing I've never found a god/* slot before. Yesterday I found 3 (2 god/power, 1 god/arm) in one trip to ruins.
