My fav is the FOnewm, I like the way they look and they can do the most damage with techs. A close second is FOmarl. I dont really like FOmars and FOnewearls very overused and boring to me.

My favorite is the fonewearl. She does lots of damage with her techs and is adorable. I also like the fomarl as well. My fonewearl is at level 92 and my fomarl is at level 19 now.

I really enjoy playing forces and rangers. I do not like Hunters as much except for the Hunewearl because she has a good balance of techs and power.

I prefer FOmars and FOmarls, but FOnewearls are good as well. I really don't like FOnewms... I've lost my taste for tech-spamming, and all techs lose their kick in online Ultimate. Any Force that can be effectively converted into a meleer scores points in my book, and the FOmar and FOmarl do that the most readily. FOnewearls can too, with their increased Resta and Anti ranges (keeps them in the support race), but FOnewms just don't have anything they can put to use tech-bonus wise. The only really notable thing about a meleeing FOnewm would be that they max their ATA at 180 and their ATP is a bit better than a FOnewearl's.

EDIT: I suppose that sounds a bit too harsh. FOnewms really excel offline, where the tech resistances don't cut out the majority of your damage. And who needs boosted support tech ranges when you're the only person there? And on top of that, the damage boosts to techs that hit multiple enemies means the FOnewm will do more damage offline than the FOnewearl. Sure, the FOnewearl may have the extra damage to Simple Techs, but remember this: the FOnewm's boost counts for every enemy he hits at the same time. The FOnewearl's can only count for one enemy.

So, offline, attack techs are the best way to clear the areas quickly. Nobody does attack techs better than the FOnewm. Offline, the FOnewm is the best character in PSO. Online, where techs get nerfed to nigh-uselessness and support techs widen the gap even more, melee and support is king, and the FOnewm is woefully underequipped for the task compared to the other Forces.

I say Fomar cuz it was my first character and i'm still using him, and i enjoyed meleeing with him below Ultimate, but stopped once there... i might start meleeing with him again now that he hit the max MST.

I can't argue with FOmarl being a good meleer than a FOnewm. But. Their ATP is not A BIT better. We are talking about maxing at 483 and maxing at 613 (or 583 and 814). That is a LOT of difference. It makes even more difference when that max atp let you use some more powerful weapons.

As for the FOmar, I only have one thing to say: ATA. Either you get supah hit% weapons or that is going to really haunt you.

well, several kids in my hood play PSO. we only use three forces. My friend has a FOmar, I have a FOmar, and my other friend has a FOnewm. The FOnewm is at a higher level than my FOmar, but for some reason, he always dies in multiplayer and the 2 FOmars always cuz reversering to the rescue!

I do well with a hunewearl or ramarl supporting online. That extra range is not needed if you know what you are doing. So I think the fonewm is the best, because his attack techs help even online/ult, and even fomars and fomarls PALE in comparison to what real RAs and HUs do damage wise with weaps anyways. (considering they will be S/D and enemies J/Z by my newm anyways)
