Do hacks prevent rares from dropping ?

Like title says, I just did 5 VIRIDIA Forest runs and not one rare dropped, I was deliberately trying this with Al Rappy and EP2 S-RANKS on to make sure.

I need as much feedback as possible, please.

Note : This excludes PDs. And I mean real hacks, that are not supposed to be.

Well I guess the cat is out of the bag partly so I'll contribute more to it.

From what I was made to understand, Sonic Team pulled a sneaky with EPS I & II Plus in regards to the Hacked Mags.

Generally what happens is that if a person is on EPS I & II plus and a person with a Hacked Mag joins, a 'Flag' goes off and from that point foward no rares will ever drop in that game anymore.

It should be noted that even if the person leaves the game, A new game will have to be made in order to be able to get rares to drop again.

There was something akin to this on DC version 2 for those users who tried to go Online with a Gameshark. So if any of you are on EPS I & II plus then keep them hacked mags out of your games if you're actually hunting for rares.

Myself? I never got one nor did I ever want one to begin with.

*Note: I should seriously ask a few people to test this with the original EPS I & II Versions to see if it applys there also.*

Not in my experience. When my Red Sword(And another Red Sword, almost at the same time) dropped, I was the only one in the game running around -without- a hacked mag, TJ-sword and Red Ring. And then there's all the Bravemans and the like I've gotten while people were using them...

You know, at this point PSO+ almost -has- to come out here, or they're just punishing the JP users and importers if some random US asshole(Or even a JP asshole) wanders into their game. -_-;;;

Unfortunately, no. I just proved my own theory wrong -- on EpI&II PAL GC.
I had no 1304 MAG, just a RED RING, a IG_J NEEDLE and a Al Rappy unit, and found special weapons from Monsters and boxes.

It is already common knowledge that the shop glitch that is so cool for codeless cheating is patched out. So the cheaters should already have deciced not to buy it. To play single user or online with PSO-plus, you have to convert your saves to plus. After that you can't use them on the old PSO anymore...

1. PSO Ep 1 + 2 Plus is a "New" version i guess for PSO,

2. I've heard it only for GC at the current moment, but you'll never know.

4. A Hacked Mag, is a Mag that is given ridicioliously high stats.
a. Like the Davil Tail or CHAO (Just been given one, since supposidly im too weak) with a Level at like 1300+ Giving Ridicolious Stat Boosts! (260 TP to 869 TP for a Ramarl?! )However they come with a Price, THESE Mags disable Red Boxes and PB blasts, since they dont have any.

I was worried if Sato, would do the same (Recived at 200, 140 mind and 40 dex,) but it appears it doesn't...

ST has enough to money to implement the necessary changes. And if you mean they don't want to lose users over the bannings...well that's BS. They ban many items/characters right now! Why not just add the lvl1304 mags to the list?

Not liking me for my cheating background I suppose is ok. It's kind of harsh to judge someone for not playing by the rules but I won't get into that cup of tea at the moment.

I was legit before, made it to 200, and then decided to dabble in the 'Dark Side' of PSO. It was my choice alone and I didn't care about the whole legits/duper arguements seeing as it's my 8.95 a month.

I will say this being that I've used dupes, I won't hack my levels & I won't cheat in Challange Mode. Granted I could go get an AR easy enough but, then what would be the point of playing at all.

I'm just here to have fun at this point and most of these debates about cheating or being uber legit are just really old arguements.
