ultimate mode, good or bad

I just got into ult. about two weeks ago and i think it's not really that fun. I have a friend who was in ult. mines and said he didn't like it and thought it was boring too. So i want to know what others think of ult. BTW I'm reffering to offline.

Vast majority of the rares are found in ultimate ...
It gets better (lot more fun) once you can kill stuff without dying everry few rooms or so ....
