You could always make a resolution to get used to being alone?

Just think of it as you not having to argue over what you're going to do with your time and what someone else wants to do with your time.

I'd rather be in the company of people than spending another 'fun' time alone. Pardon me, but that's just the way I prefer it. I've had a lonely thanksgiving, christmas, and now New Years. Some fun holidays they are indeed.

I foregoed getting shitfaced in a controlled environment this year. I'll get shitfaced another day of the week, but tonight I'm tired.

Don't know spike. I only have immediate family for holidays, but then immediate family means 1-3 sisters, their husbands and my neices and nephews. Usually 8 people in the house at one time, but that includes my parents and brother, and if only one of my sister's visits. Aside from that, 24/7 it's just me, my brother and my parents.

You get used to it.
