PSOX-US: New Years Screw-up?

I just signed on to PSOX-US to see if they added the new years themes, and found the lobbies still had the christmas themes. I haven't been online since they took down the St. Rappies, and I'm curious;
Did they accidently put up the christmas lobbies in place of the new years lobbies, or was the christmas lobby just never taken down?

When Sonic Team wants to do something to the PSO servers, they have to ask Microsoft to do it for them, so there is an extra delay. Microsoft might be off work this week.

I do remember last year on the Cube though that only the Japanese got the New Year's decorations, we still had X-ma$ stuff up...
So it could be that only the Japanese X-boxers got the decos. and US is out of luck..but I don't know...
