Which ranger is right for you?

alright now i am making a poll on what ranger i should make i have exp mainly with hunters and a little with force characters and have never leveled a ranger past level 5...

So i need to know which ranger to make and why since i have no weapons for the class(varista and visk dont count =)) i do have a level 79 HuCast who has some items to give him like god power and the like but anyways pick yours and tell me why i should make them or why u chose your ranger atleast

I voted for RAcaseal. In my opinion, they are the best Rangers, with RAmarl finishing a close 2nd. I personally think Traps are more useful than Magic with Rangers, since they specialize with guns, and all it takes is a Freeze or Confusion Mine and a Shotgun class weapon to wreak havoc all over your enemies.

The only problem with RAcaseal, as with all Andriods, is no Techs, so you can only rely on your weapons in Boss Fights, which isn't that much of a downside when you look at it. It just means you might have to take a slightly different approach to the boss.

Anyhow, my vote goes to RAcaseal. w00t.

i pick RAmarl, mainly because she is the ranger version of the HUnewearl.

in most circumstances, the enemies arent going to be close enough for you to trap them, while as a RAmarl you can rafoie, zonde(gizonde at higher levels), and there is a little life-saving trick called resta shield.

in my not-so-humble opinion, the RAmarl>all other rangers for soloing.

Ramarls are the only rangers I like. Techs are nice, and weapon status' work good too.

I think i would pick racaseal - definately not the most powerful ATP wise, but their defence is impressive, meaning that they are great for soloing, if that's your plate of chips.

Seriously, the ability to do S/D/J/Z/R, all at level 20, and Anti at level 7, is very nice to have! The offensive techniques are not quite as useful given that you are already equipped with ranged weapons, but they are not totally useless either, and again, at level 20, they are strong enough to be useful when they are needed!

I choose RAmarl as well. I like characters with high mind stats over high power. Meh, I like techs. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif Anyway once she hits 140-150ish you won't have to worry about evading things much with her awsome evasion. Her accuracy is top notch just below the RAmar. Defense is not that bad either, and as said before she has awsome mind. Her HP and power are the lowest in the RAnger class but is compensated by high Evasion, Accuracy and Mind. Also she is by far the easiest of the class to solo with IMO.

If you are not soloing much then perhaps a RAcaseal? Her accuracy is lower but her defense is the top of the game compared to the RAmarl as being top evade. These stats are very important especially online doing anything harder than Mines or Episode II. Her HP is quite high and evasion is about average. Her power is also average. With traps however she is awsome in online for extra support. She can also use the Panzer series and if you can get your hands on one it is quite fun to use and you don't see many people with them.

Remember all classes have strengths and weaknesses and go for what you feel you have the most commonality to. I personally love characters with high mind stats so I tend to use those. Some people prefer high power or accuracy stats or androids. To each his own. All the RAngers are good at what they excel at and are lacking in what they don't. Also, if you are going to switch things up ever, a RAmarl is the best.

RAmarl has techs, so you could go using all techs for a bit of fun (don't do online or with friends, it may get annoying to them, and RAmarl techs only do so much damage). Also, RAmarl's high EVP and DFP make it easy to melee.

RAcaseal can also melee, due to their high DFP.
