They will transfor on there own when you get them out of the card packs. It's random I think and bassically the more you play the better chance you have of it happening. It can occur off or online but its pretty rare for it to happen. I had a couple do it for me on trial and a one or two tried on the full version but it fizzled and just turned into a junk common card, that or stayed the same, I forget http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

I don't think cards can transform on story mode, but I know they can on multimode....

Yep, they can transform on Story Mode as well, that's where most of my few transformations have occurred.
