What determines how good of cards you get?

Does it go by your Rank or your Card Level or both.

I know card level has to do something with it.

Card Level.

And it matters if it's the offline or online, for instance, if you had clv 999 offline, but played online, with a clv of 1, you would still only get n4 cards. If you played offline, you would get rare cards to match your level.

What does the rank mean then. Like C rank?

its a combination of both c level and rank.

the higher your level, as rbf said the better cards you can get.
the higher your rank the higher the likelyhood they will appear in a deck you select at the end of a match.

Rank E to S mean how many cards you can have at end of game rank S is more cards.

Clv :
1 - 30 lots N cards and some R
30 - 50 more R cards and some S (of course always lots of N too)
after 50 you start have more S

this is what i notice


And some cards can be obtained only offline story mode or 1 v1 or 2 v2 2 or Online. And for transformation.
