Noobish Ep3 Question

After reading a few articles about PSOEpIII, I've decided that it sounds quite interesting. Although I like the standard PSO real-time combat, the new strategic card idea doesn't sound too bad.

At any rate, I have a somewhat odd question about the game. When you're creating your character, does it work much the same as PSOEPI&II? You choose Hero or Arkz...then what? If I were to say, make a FOnewearl character, would I be limited to making just FOnewearl decks? Or does your choice in character type have no relevancy in the actual game, and it's just a question of which character class you think looks the best?

I havent played too much but I think your character you make is just for looks when moving around. I dont know if it helps any other ways. When you start story mode everytime you can choose ARKZ or HEROSIDE. So you can be both with any character. And these characters dont fight that you make you choose a person to fight with your deck.

So, in battle, you take the role of one of the NPCs? Like Break, Sil'fer, etc? Or maybe I'm just confused...O.o

Yes. When you create a deck you choose one of those characters. Then they will fight with your monsters or use your items.

Ah, I get it now. So the character you "create" really doesn't matter, it's just like an avatar. You make a deck and you get the appropriate NPC. How many decks can one character hold/carry?

Character you made can only be used on pioneer 2 and lobby.

Quite a few. I have at least 1 for each character now, both Hunters and Arkz.

I think you can have as many decks as you want, but I'm not 100% sure.

Yes, you can rename them as many times as you want.

I have 24 decks i think you can make all you want(maybe not 500).

I constantly have to delete perfectly good decks, there is definitely a maximum- I'll check later.

It's annoying though, because IMO the max is too low.
