Final rank = 7. Or maybe 6, it was fluctuating before the final tourney.

May not mean a lot though, because there might be 30 people all ranked 1 with the same score.

Apparently the result gets posted on the ep 3 support HP at 20:00 JST, ie. in one hour. If my FOmar's name is there, ie. Arion, then that means I'm in the final tomorrow.

After staying up for twenty six hours (and with only 5 hours sleep before that, due to having had to adjust my sleep pattern), I am off to bed, but will be up again in exactly one hour!

As for Simon, he gave up late last night, after being very, very sick due to an overdose of caffeine energy drinks and coffee.

I'd like to thank everyone who *tried* to make this a fair group effort, and also to apologise for being the only one who got into the top 16.
Also a big NO THANKS to those who used one point blockers, after we all agreed not to!

Also found a VIP card and 2 Immortality cards in the course of events.

Grats Shim! Wish I could have made it through the whole thing, but a couple things came up that made real life intrude on my game-play... http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Good luck in the finals, and I hope my breakage of your Capture Card wasn't permanent!

Congratulations again! Since I was there when the classificatory phase finished.
I'm surprised you make it to the 2nd place with 1100 meseta over 6th. And you were 7th before last tourney. I think that many thought there would be tourneys until 18.00 and missed last tourney. In last you did 1400 Meseta that raised you 5 places ahead.
I hope while I'm writing this you are having a deep sleep for the final of tomorrow.

Are others besides the 16 going to be allowed to watch the finals? Are we able to enter the same block that it'll be held in?

Thanks to all. I'm now up after 9 hours sleep, because I need to practise finding a GOOD deck to play this grid. As opposed to the easily beaten quick win or quick loss one I used all yesterday.
The TV card is wrecked, and Simon FORGOT TO BUY MEM CARDS WHILE I WAS ASLEEP. This means he will be going out at 6 AM tomorrow to try to buy some from somewhere open 24 hours in town. I'm really pissed off and I feel utterly crippled without my TV card. What's the worst thing? I don't think the manufacturers will pay up. About 4 months ago I tripped over from 3 metres across the room, spilled coffee all over my PC (the casing SHOULD have caught it, but now I found it got in the vents), turned it off and left it to dry out until the coffee on the outer casing was completely dry. Everything was left working with no faults. But yesterday the TV card blew up for no reason, and when I took the TV card out there were coffee stains all over the warantee sticker - nothing else, it had missed the chips entirely, JUST the warrantee sticker. I had to take it off. So this little cock up has cost me $150. I may buy a new one, stick the sticker on the old one, send it back and ask for a refund. They deserve it, because it's not my 4 month old coffee that caused the card to die. And the card is only 5 months old, with a year guarantee.

I feel like doing this was pointless without the TV card. I wanted a screenshot or two for this site or the magazine, which is why I, with my pro quality TV card went in for the long stretch without expecting anyone else to. What horrible timing from the TV card - I really need somebody else with one to come and view the final tourneys and take pictures.

Arislan, it's not yor fault, that was a little joke, nothing else. But if I win the tourney (and I don't expect to win, my dice luck is dreadful) can I have your address to send the card art certificate to? I don't want to be a big walking advertisement that importers are playing, they might firewall us all.

- Shimarisu (sorry to sound a bit down, but the screenshots were the point I did this, it's my job, and I feel so let down by my HORRIBLE luck.)

Sure, PMed you the address. Wish there was some way around the Capture Card not working, besides a ton of screenshots, I was looking forward to seeing some different decks in use and some really high quality gameplay from the finalists.

Shim calm down. I have a capture card, so I'll be following you until you're defeated and then I'll follow that winner until the final. (that is of course unless you win!)

OK, thanks a lot. That's a big help.

Doubt I'll win, what with the 50% luck thing, but I do have a good deck. I'm playing honarably, no point blockers, but I do have a mostly def deck, so it might be boring to watch.

I didn't invite you Eum, because there were only 3 people I could invite, and Tevren, Malk and Simon had played all day with me to help me boost my rank. I know you would have too, but I don't like asking people for such favours. Anyway you had dced early on. Please try to understand.
