Section ID In EP3

Now, everyone here knows the purpose Section IDs have in Episodes I&II. They mainly determine what items you find, and what Mag evolutions you can get.

Now, given the nature of Episode III, I was wondering if Section IDs do anything? Do they determine what cards you get after winning a match? Or do they have some other purpose? *still an EP3 noob*

Hmm, thanks for the link, but I'm still a little bit confused. "Section IDs are okay for cards"? What exactly does that mean? Section IDs don't effect what cards you get?

Section IDs do nothing but place a little glowy icon on your character's throat/chest/etc. That's about it. It's all about current CLVL, mode, and to a lesser extent, booster pack chosen as to what cards are gained.

On the upside, it does mean you don't have to spend several hundred hours levelling a certain ID character just to get a card on a certain mode. I can't even consider the difficulty and time involved in levelling a second character to over 100 online or off, much less 3 or 4.

Well, both guides state explicitly that Section IDs do nothing, one in a little info box with Sensei Saligun as the guide, and another in a little info box on the bottom of the page explaining what influences card obtaining. It's possible that both guides could be wrong, they are by the same company, but I doubt it.

Section IDs don't do anything? Don't be absurd! They determine the colour of that cute little chair you sit in! So plan carefully now, don't go naming those chars just anything!

Im not saying they do or dont im saying they could. I will look since I havent yet then I can say for sure. Also the guides arent usually 100% accurate.

Well, we have discovered, since you looked in the game files, that the Section ID is what spins in the Staff Roll, so that's another use I guess.

You can obtain all cards of game with differents IDs.
