Free Battle Options

Does anyone know which battles in the Story Mode unlock which decks for the Free Battle? As well as the dice options, it'd be nice to start the match with 9/9, when card hunting in Free Battle. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Working on the Decks... The Arks Quests are all recorded at the moment, you can look at each quest, and if the deck is used in that quest, it is opened in that quest. I'll have a list up in a more easily accessable format in a day or two though.

What about Dice? It gives me the option to set it to Minimum roll 6, but 7,8,9 are greyed out... So I assume they *CAN* be used, just have to unlock them. ^_^

I'm just doing alot of quick battles now, trying to get my CLv offline above 50, hope to see some S-ranks, and have a decent amount of decent cards for when my CC comes and I can go online. ^_^

Not sure. I'd venture to say after Amplam Umbra. The guide doesn't say either. I'm playing through ARkz now, i'll let you know if I unlock that.

Don't think that does it. I've beaten Hunterside and Darkside, and Anapram on both sides as well ^_^ Didn't unlock it >_<

Beat all three Free Battle Quests and have you opened all decks? Those would be my other two hypothesis. That would require two playthroughs at least on both sides.

I've beaten all the Free Battle quests, but still haven't unlocked *ALL* decks... To unlock all decks, wouldn it require multiple play throughs on Hunters and Arkz? I'm not sure, but I think certain decks are only used in certain battles, let's say a subplot battle... If you go one way, and you can't go another? Or can you do *ALL* subplot battles once threw? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif Anyways, i'm *STILL* stuck offline for a while, so i'll probably try to go through all the subquests, unlock every deck, and see what else I can do ^_^

Right, hence why I said at least two playthroughs. Each time you can do one of the two branches on each side.

Yea I think it might be different depending on what character you use.

Like first time I went through Hunterside I used Sil'fer and got the cutscenes with Break. This time I went through with Ino'lis and got some new cutscenes with the arks forces.

Updated the Hunter's Side Quests Walkthrough thread, it's finished now. The quests that you can get cutscenes in are listed in each of these threads. The story makes a ton more sense when you see the cutscenes too...

The higher dices I guess they can't be unlocked.
Maybe is shown in grey because you can get 9 dice in game using dice bonus. Go with 9 9 directly would negate all the EX and dice stuff that is a major point in the game.
