I've had enough of playing with foreigners who swear and say stuff like "ja.p" to the Japanese players. Had enough of "Maa gaijin" then when I follow the person who said it, seeing them trash talking gaijin in another lobby. (I can do this due to my majic 2 connections!)

There is a lot of animosity on this game, nothing like the friendly nature of ep 1+2, and the players ARE noticeably younger. Maybe this is because in the later years of ep 1+2 only the older gamers still played (I'm talking the Japanese here) but JESUS CHRIST. You importers (if indeed you are all adults) are EMBARRASSING. I surmise from the fact that most of you have a credit card that you are over the age of 18, but jesus, some of the TRASH you talk. Grow the hell up. I'm not a japophile either, some of you just can't read it when I take similar behaviour from the Japanese to task. Once again, set a good example, stop saying 'jap', stop saying 'fukk you' if you lose - THEY ARE NOT STUPID AND CAN FIGURE OUT WHAT IT MEANS.

I've recently reported one player for saying "Fukk you jap" and I will do the same to any and all, Westerner or Japanese, whose guildcard I can wangle using my other account.

Be forewarned. And yes, Sonic Team WILL do something about it, as any English player who knew Arg Noodles back when a certain FOmar named Arion (ie me) got him banned for lobby FSOD by directly emailing Sonic Team.

Anyway, the average age/IQ of players seems to be dropping on Episode I & II as well. I was in a game with one guy who went totally off it because no rare items were dropping. When I told him to calm down, he told me to come into a BA game so he could "kikk ur @$$!!!!!". He then proceeded to call me a bent homogay (Triple negative?), and spent the next fifteen minutes preaching about how America is better than Britain using no less than seven swear words per sentence. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, so I just went and got another can of lager while he was blaring on. I came back and checked the chat log, and he hadn't stopped.

Personally, I would have transliterated the chat log and posted it up for line by line dissection in FKL. The off topic nonsense that would have resulted may very well have been legendary.

Haha STE, you really are naive to think that if you email Sonic Team directly they do nothing. Losing one player is nothing to them. Losing a heck of a lot because a player is an abusive moron means a lot more. For the record, Bruce Lee was also banned, many times, he just used a certain site to get new (illegal) registrations. I doubt most others will be capable or aware of such things. The trouble is, if you are a serious player who is banned, you lose all your registration details on your card and you HAVE to restart the game, even if you illegally acquire new details. This happened to arg Noodles who had to restart on a new copy. It amuses me that some people cling to the belief that Sega do nothing, they do, and such has been proven. How do I know? Arg Noodles told me himself, I have his new guild card, we were friends in the end when he stopped the FSODing.

I think you missed the fact that I report to Sega Japan, not the US arm. The European arm is more likely to listen also.

And no, Sega won't just flat out ban someone if someone speaks out against them. But with a PSO taken screen or three and a nicely written mail in the proper language, you'll get an ear that will listen to what you haev to say. This person will then evaluate the situation and take the appropriate action. I've seen it on JP DC PSO, and we're likely to see it here.

For the record... When Sega recieves a report, just like any other online service, they check their logs at the date, time and location reported in the occurance. If the report is true, they will react accordingly. This is why you can't lie in a report and expect results.

And if you use another serial number, that is the one I will report. You NEED the guild card of another member to report them. Now this particular guy has *my* guild card. He has been harrassing me. I admit I used his comment of "Let's go fuck the japs" to have him reported AFTER he had continued to throw shit at me, but I included all this in my complaint to Sonic Team - "This guy follows me, plays in my tourneys, abuses me and says thngs to people behind my back, but the worst thing is he uses racial abuse in front of people while I am there, so in doing this he is abusing people in my presense, constantly, in fact almost every day."

And it is a friend of yours. I never once said you defended him, did I? In fact I never told you what to do, but let's try it now. As I have been told many times by ignorant Japanese people who thought this guy was with me because I LIKED him - "Choose your friends more wisely." Except I know he IS your friend, because you have said so previously on this forum.

I'm not a coward, I said to my boyfriend - "He has my guild card and I have mine, and I'm telling him I'm reporting him. Let him do what he likes."

I've had enough. It was that Brazilian guy living in Japan, who you have previously declared to be a stellar individual.

You know full well he's your friend, and if you didn't know he frequently says to people "Let's go fuck the japs," please review your stance. I once got really angry with him over this and he said, "Japan is not so beautiful". I said "I bet you would rather be there than Brazil". So he now tells people I am racist against Brazil. Haha.

Oh and I've been to Japan many times, and can happily confirm it to be a damn sight more beautiful than most of England. Those who think of england as the green and plesant land, were probably not aware of the slums. I've been to the slums of Japan too (Minami Senjuu anyone?), would never go there again, but let me say they are a lot easier to avoid than the slums of England.

I'm sure he encounters terrible racism in Japan,. but in fighting back with the same, he does not impress me. Like I say, I don't sit well with minorities who huddle together and fight the majority. They only make the situation thousands of times worse, that's why the Asians in the UK who segregate themselves and live in special communities get even MORE flak than the people who try to integrate. By segregating yourself you do not even have the tolerance of the types of people who would previously have tried to be your friend.

90% of Japanese ARE stupid. 90% of westerners, 90% of italians, 90% of the world. Maybe I'm just talking from my perspective when I say this, but my IQ is in the top 2% and I do not feel very intelligent. I feel very naive and stupid, and yet I'm in the top %. But I'm talking social crimes here, and I'm supposed to commit the worst, I am autistic and supposedly have no understanding of social ettiquette. But this computer like perspective of social behaviour in fact gives me a unique insight into what parts of it are stupid. And the Japanese, with the BIGGEST autistic population (by percent of their nation) in the world, with their prediliction for treating people with courtesy DESPITE what they privately think, seem less stupid in this respect than anyone. Tokyo is the only city in the world where I can live, go shopping, go out drinking without fear of recrimination, I just tell people I am autistic and they swarm to my aid, but not by grabbing me as westerners do - you don't grab people who are autistic, they hate it.

I can't even leave the house in this country. So excuse me for the generalisation - "Westerners are mostly rude and ignorant of other cultures, Japanese are mostly polite and yet MORE ignorant of other cultures, they just don't act on it for the most part." - this is true.
