Bug... in... PSOX....

Well, Liquid Bacon and I stumbled into a bug in PSOX. A duping bug. I have no idea how the hell we did it, but it boils down to this.

1) There was no intention ever to dupe the item
2) It was a bug in the software, that I have no idea how to reproduce
3) It was a sole act of God.

http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif Once again, I have no idea how I got the item, but I have it, its cool. Kinda like how Sonic Adventure 2 glitched on the Hero Race, causing my Chao to win and me earning all 180 emblems to unlock the Secret Stage!

EDIT: Quality is low since I had to record the footage of the items to tape, since my X-Box isn't hooked up to my graphics card unless I actually want to capture something on purpose. Didn't feel like disconnecting the X-Box.

Wait... Proto Regen Gear is a shield/barrier I thought.

Anyway, I would probably not keep the item. If the case is true that it was a bug, there is no telling what you could mess up with it. That and the fact that it was rather cheap. But that is just my opinion.

I'm still trying to figure out what the heck happened! He dropped the items he was going to transfer, like you always do, and I picked them up. The armor was there in the group of items that I picked up, so somehow, the server didn't register him dropping it. Weirdness!

Christ... you shouldnt have posted this. Now, in a few days/weeks, all the n00bs and all the people that wants to dupe and doesnt know how to do it in PSOX will start trying to find out exactly how to do it... you have condemned PSOX. u_u

It was a stupid glitch. Considering how many times I've dropped an item, whatever or whatnot, this is the first time an item has appeared in my inventory.

Two, I play legitly. No modded X-Box, I was just dropping Mags for Bacon to use. Considering the chances of how many items are dropped on the ground a day, I just stumbled along a random instance of where I did indeed dupe something, or so I think anyway. I have no idea what happened, nor do I care, but whatever it is - it was a glitch that wasn't fixed by the patch.

Regardless, any version of PSO is screwed to dupes and hacks. Don't think that this random instance will lead to PSOX's doom, its already happening right now. Actually, I am pretty sure that this was around a while before he posted this...so you can't say that he "condemned" PSOX. And the last thing we need is another legit saying "he ruined PSOX," followed a cheater who will say "stop complaining," and the normals go "you both are nuts, you know that right?" No, we been there before. We don't need.

But for the reason of the fact that will most likely happened...I am going to have to lock it. No warnings towards anyone and no one is in trouble...it is just history is doomed to repeat itself.
