Is there any way to know how many posts does one have in FKL ?
I was checking Brad's profile, and I noticed that he, as well as many others (Uncle, Robo47, KaFKa, etc.) are "Most active in : Fresh Kills Landfill"
So ?

he he, ok, thanks.

btw, I have another question, I cannot seem to find the song on which the name of this forum is based.
And is "Dead Horse Society" a song, too ?
I'd like the artist, or even a place to d/l them.
I usually use eMule.

Before your questions gets too specific...

I don't know the name of the song, I think lolita picked it.

And asking for MP3s (in most cases) is against the rules...

i never understood why mp3s are a 'taboo' thing on these forums. is it because the likes of napster and kazaa use them as a preferred file type?

It's the same thing as warez

actually, last time i looked, the mp3s themselves arent warez, just the site/program/whatever usually are.

mp3s are used in alot of things other than warez (and are legal)

mp3s are legal if not copyrighted, in case one is copyrighted, a link to it or the explanation of a way to get it is illegal and therefore prohibited from the forums. That's why I was asking for the artist.

Warez is to be avoided altogether.

Unless you have bought the copyrights (I doubt you have that money http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif ), that would be illegal as well. If you have, let's say Life on Mars? by David Bowie on your link, then you're in for a great deal of trouble ; especially if your DB is in the US, and therefore under US and international laws.

Softwares like KaZaA, which only offer peer to peer download access, have their database situated in tiny islands in the middle of the ocean, where the notion of 'international laws' doesn't even exist, that is why they cannot be attacked (yet?)

i meant if i were to make mp3s of my own music/etc. copyrighted it, and solicited the mp3s myself, then would THAT be illegal? http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

and kazaa is supposed to be based in sweeden, but i doubt that.

That would be legal, I have mp3s I made, I could offer a link to them. You do not even need to copyright them.
