Memorable Moments:The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

I remember my first time going to Ultimate Caves....I saw this "beautiful" new Lily(aka Ob Lily) and thought it did its usual Poison Spit....so I just decided to ignore and kill all these new enemies meleeing me....then I see this oddly familiar purple ball.....WHAM! Me am dead.....Megid....you gotta love it

Story Two: Me and a close friend of mine spent about 2 hours trying to get through Ultimate Caves for the first time....and got the Bajesus knocked out of us by all the stupid slapping enemies and Megid shooters countless times and finally got to Dal Rol Lie.
Well, after about half a hour, we finally killed him(or so we thought). We shot a final blow to it and suddenly it just dissapears. We cheered and cheered. I was happy at the moment but for some reason my friend was not. I stared at him and was thinking, "What the heck is wrong with him?!" THen out of the blue he shouts,'CORNER CORNER CORNER!'(our safe spot form his falling rocks) In my opinion I thought he was going crazy. Suddenly, a pile of rocks fall on me and I survive with about 10 health. Right after that, it dies without a hit....gotta love surprises

Ok I was on Vhard Temple or hard temple not sure awhile back. A Love rappy had appeared I took him down and waiting for his escape. It got up I shoot it and it slide across the floor. I was wondering what I would get! I walked over and to my surprise It was......32 mesata....I sweared to get my revenge !!

Story Three: The Beloved Sinow Blue
My close friend and I(yet again) got to Ultimate Mines and I let him go ahead while I read an article about PSO III and he gets to this room with a Sinow Blue. He suddenly starts to freak out and I thought he needed help so I looked up. The first thing I saw was a whole room full of Sinow Blues....RIGHT BEHIND ME!(there were at least 3) I started to FREAK OUT! I ran and ran...but couldn't evade them. Suddenly I realize they aren't hurting me, and stop...and they just keep on attackin'. Then they just dissapear. NOTE:I was in the very first room so it was a closed area. Glitches....you gotta love em

Story Four: NOTE: Be VERY afraid of Bulks. Sure, they may SEEM harmless, but they are the most powerful monster in the game without a instant kill attack.(no lie) One day my friend was telling me a story of how he seemed suspicious of a faded memory of being wary of Bulks, then he suddenly remembered. He told me, "DO NOT PROVOKE THE BULK." So just to tease him, I started to stalk it and continuously chanted, 'Should I provoke it?! What'll happen?!' Then suddenly out of the blue he runs by me screaming, "I WILL!!!" I hear a shot, thenn see him running past me. I thought he was going crazy yet again. Then he gets caught between some claws. The Bulk catches up to him...stops...WHAM! A Ramarl with over 800 health survived with one health(its secret weapon) I tried it out in Normal with my lvl 107 character and the same happened. The lesson? Never under-estimate an enemy....not even a Claw....they hurt REEEEEEEEEEEEEAL bad...

I hate sinow blues....anyway lets see....how about my first rare? It happened to be a slicer of assassin from a hildebear, I go get it tekked and I think it's so cool looking but it has a high atp requirement(I was a lowlevel RAmar) so I wait so many levels waiting to use it, but in that time I keep finding diska of liberator by the dozens. And when I finally get to use them all I see how crappy they are. Now I get pissed at anything with the word diska in it....freakin dal ra lie keeps givin me bravemen to piss me off....
PS-the sinow thing isn't a glitch, they are just copies of the origial, so they can't hurt you.

my first was a Musashi, which is good. Now i enjoy a good Elysion. i don't care what you people say i think that is a cool sword. oh yea, i still don't dare leave Ult forest.

Hi ^_^ I'm the 'psycho' who plays along w/ Cyger.... man, I rememeber those moments every time I play PSO! Especially the Bulks, GAH! I knew I remembered something from when I used to play w/ my character, Ryoko, on the Episode 1 for Dreamcast, their stupid down to 1 HP attack when provoked, lol. Ne way, just wanted to say somethin'. O yea! I've also encountered gettin' tons of Diska of Liberators, Raytch is Whitill, so she finds them often, I must've found 25+ thru all of my time in VHard and Ultimate, I'm gettin' bored of em!

Bulks always drop you down to 1 HP. I had a rather embarassing experience with that... did you know it's actually possible to die while trying to start up a Photon Blast? I was using my HUcast's Soul Eater in V2, kicking around the Ruins, when I had to engage a Bulk. Short version, I got dropped to 1 HP, which did enough damage to fill my PB meter. My monomate button was on the second row, so... I tried to PB. The automatic HP dropper hit me, and I died as the seal was beneath my feet. There was this loud "thunk" noise when it happened, too. Very odd.

Story: Pipe? I don't need no Pipe!
Me and my friend were in the forest looking for Pal rappies. Actually it was just him, doing the FiY quest, I was spectating. Afterall this determind if I got a Guard Wave. So He piped... And he piped... And he piped some more. Eventualy I did get my Guard Wave. But he never got himsef one, never found another pal who dropped one. He did find a second pal though, got a Plasma berrier... Fun for him. Anyway after thee many pipings he ahs to leave. So I go and try out my new Gurad Wave in the Ultimate Forest. I am now all ripple like. Weee. Ok so I get to the first room, which has three rapppies drop in. Would you know it? Right in the midst of the three rappies, the second one to drop, is a Pal Rappy. I really like Irony sometimes, even if I only got an HP/Revival. It was still pretty darn funny.

One of my favorite pso memories is from one of my tower runs. I was on the 9th floor while slaying the last ill gill, it decided to drop a red box (suppossed to be a Demonic Fork), but it was the photon drop. I commenced swearing and then didn't even bother finishing off Epsilon. I grabbed a drink and decided to play a different game for a while.

My most fave and most remeberable moment playin PSO was first switching the game on. I was playing with a friend. We both made a char (me a FO, my friend a RA) and went down to Forest. The first moment you see forest, it hits you. Your surrounded in a world of mystery with the almost eerie music playing in the background.

Unfortunately we then proceeded to F2 and got slaughtered by a Hildebear. X_X

The first time i played PSO:
Id just bought PSO when i was wiv 3 m8s and when we went to play on it we were in pioneer 2 and couldnt figure out how to get onto Ragol we were running round at least 15 mins trying to find where 2 go until i read the manual and found that we were sposed to all go in the teleporter at once. Also one of the first times we were fighting a hildebear we were running away from it and attacking when it takes a massive leap and kills one of my m8s instantly who sed "it jumps??"
