XBox: changing your name

i heard that there's a way to change your name without starting over or changing your section i.d. I heard if you pull out the ethernet cable when it says connecting to xbox live you'll have to change it. That didn't work. I also heard if you have people report you for a "bad name" they'll make you change it. I don't know if the second one's true but i'd rather not have a bunch of reports coming in about me unless I know it works

Yeah, that is a hardware exploit. Not really a full cheat like the DF trick, but still, just to be on the safe side.
