Great game... but

it's somehow a little sad to see that 30,000 people that are better than you

I don't like how it becam too realistic to face PS2's GT.
And I'm not buying an Xbox anyway.

I'm not sure what you mean, but I liked PGR1 more than PGR2.

I mean MSR, and PGR1 were more "arcade".
And were made by SEGA http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

do you need to run at 60hz to play with people outside the US area, obviously canada, etc fall into that category. or is the 60hz just a PSO thing. if it doesn need to be 60hz, technically you cant play with people in europe or japan, because xbox doesnt have 60hz compatability, which is why you can play PSO with people outside your region.

ok i contradicted myself abit there, seeing xbox doesnt have 60hx, you obviously use 60hz to play.

just the way the game is marketed in england was that "its good to see people from 3 different time zones in your rear view mirror, together!!!1" which is pretty lame really, when theyre all from europe probably 1 hour behind or 1-2 infront, seems carp in the grand scheme of things when PSO lets me play with people from my country, people from europe, people from the US and canada, people from japan, even people from australia!

Actually, they were made by "Bizarre Creations", the same people who made some other games I cannot seem to remember - Fur Fighters was one of their games though. The reason why the game was titled "Project Gotham Racing" instead of "Metropolis Street Racer" was that Sega owns the rights to that name, not Microsoft.

Sega just released a version of the game to the DC, and Microsoft comissioned Bizarre Creations to port it over to the X-Box.

MSR and PGR1 were developed by Bizarre under SEGA and in their studios, PGR2 was not because SEGA "taught them well" http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif
