How the hell do you kill the mines boss offline

Please help. I cannot seem to kill that god damn robot boss at the end of the mines offline. I'm a lvl 35 Ranger. The bloody thing always seems to stomp me and kill me in one go. i'm getting pretty bored of playing mines now and am wanting to make it to the next stage. Please please help

Here's what to do: Before hand, put healing items on your action bar because you don't have enough time to do resta inbetween the smashes. Stop attacking when his attacking panel goes up. That means he's about to his you with the pannels. Attack his attacking pannel first,because he can't use it anymore if you can destroy it. (It also damages him)
