Well...Pso is getting to the piont where playing is dangerous. I know people complain about this all the time...but i think ill get my say in. The bsod is a bigger threat than any dupers/stealers put together. Sega should concentrate on that instead. People are losing everything they have worked for. I am extremely resentful about playing anymore. My (believe it or not) 13th bsod occured today. I have lost 4 characters and 50++ rares. ITs getting extremely un-reasonable. I mean, today, I had 2 in 1 hr.! I realize that this has happened 2 other people numerous times, but i figure ill let some steam off and try to get across this atagonizing point across one more time. Once again...150+ hours down the drain. Hopefully v2 will fix this. I think ill go hibernate until then.

You know you can avoid the BSOD. Juts pull out the phone cord from your Dreamcast. Eventually it will say "Line Disconnected GAME OVER" then it will save your game. But it depends, is your screen going black or just freezing?

Can any techie-types out there enlighten us as to what causes the bsod. It's GOTTA suck to have all those hours into a character and then lose it.Just recreate your character and there are those of us out there who would GLADLY lend a hand to raise him/her back up.Do'nt let bsod stop you completely.

Well, I really have no idea what it is. The dreamcast just resets. If that will help=)

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
It is soooooooooooo easy to avoid the BSoD!!!!
Just unplug the damn phone cord and wait!
Then the thing wil say, Line disconnected, press start!
And then it saves!!!!!
You don't loose anything!!!!!!!
MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA

It's true though. It works.

Yep, unplugging the phone cord works. It works both for black screen and freezes.

It's obviously of no help for resets, though...

In 200+ hours of game play, I had only one item loss from a bsod, and that was only because I didn't know the unplug trick. I had the dreamcast resetting once, and apart of that, just a few (and harmless) BSOD...

Unplugging the phone cord OF COURSE works! I think we should spread the word that all you have to do is just be patient and watch the screen or go do something else and your game will eventually figure it out on its own and then save itself!

ive frozen 2 times nad BSOD'd like 30 times

HAVET LOST A BLOODY THING!

maybe the DC reset is caused by heat?
