GC: Controllers

I just tried to load a character for multiplayer using one of my controllers. It allowed me to get as far as the screen where it shows the memory cards, then it won't let me use any buttons except X (character info) and B (go back a screen).

I tried to use the same controller to load a character in single player, and it let me do that.

I tried to do the same with a different controller, and it worked.

Any clue why it just doesn't work at that one screen?

Your c stick isnt jammed or funkied up, is it?

It wasn't the C-Stick acting up, it was the analogue stick and the A button that just weren't working at all.
