Once, there was a small church called "Our Lady of Gratitude". This church was inhabited by an order of Friars. Due to some money problems, the Friars realised that they had to produce some income to keep the church alive. One of them decided that selling flowers would be a great way to commune with God's earth, and raise some cash.
Weeks later, the Friars started selling flowers at very low prices (as money did not drive them). This created a problem for the local flowershop. There was no way that the owner could compete with the church's low prices.
For two weeks, he begged the Friars to stop selling. He pleaded that he had a family to feed, and a house to pay for. The Friars refused, as they "Were doing god's work".
The owner of the flower shop decided that drastic measures had to be taken. He drove to the local pub late one night, and asked the biggest guy that he could find to "pay the Friars a visit". The man's name was Hugh McTaggard.
Hugh came to the church the next morning, and beat the bajeebus out of the Friars. He also destroyed all of their gardening tools.
This proved, once and for all, that:
